The property was not properly cleaned before we arrived.

The location was wonderful. Being right across from the beach was convenient. It was great to have undercover, secure parking, particularly given how busy the surrounding streets became with people accessing the beach. Key pick-up and drop off was convenient.

Some of the facilities in the apartment were not working. At the end of our stay we reported to the property management team that the exhaust fans in both bathrooms were not functional, the main light in the main bedroom seemed to have a blown globe and was not working. There was also a strange, unappealing smell at the front of the apartment that seemed to be coming from the floor waste in the main bathroom. The booking.com advertisement for the property had an icon suggesting it had internet. We found out on our first day after ringing the property management team that the apartment did not in fact have internet. Although the weather was not overly hot, it was disappointing that an apartment listed at this price point (in excess of $350 a night), did not have air conditioning. Although the ceiling fans were beneficial, I could imagine that in the height of Summer, these would be insufficient in keeping the apartment cool. I would suggest installing a split system air conditioner which could be easily done with the motor located on the balcony.
