The gardens and pool were stunning and good for our young kids. The house is generously stocked with cooking equipment and various essentials. The house has loads of character. The outside dining table is nice.
The previous guests had checked out late so the house wasn't quite ready for us at check-in (although Vicky worked very hard to get it ready). The main bedroom is a mezzanine off the main living space so it's not very private. The house is very lived-in - it's not a typical holiday rental. The dishwasher was broken unfortunately. Vicky was very helpful and she gave us our own space, but we hadn't expected the host to be staying on site.
