Villa Sofia

Perfect location, rural and quiet, but right on the beach with very shallow access to the sea. We arrived to a very well stocked fridge with more than enough supplies for breakfast the next morning. Very clear Whatsapped instructions from the host, so no problems finding the villa. A very short drive to the perfect taverna, Restaurant Avra. Stunning location right by the sea to watch the beautiful sunsets, delicious food and very friendly owners. The villa was clean and very comfortable, air conditioned and spacious. A real home from home. The owner was very helpful and on hand at all times. We were unfortunate to have a power cut whilst at the villa, but Dimitri was over to help with the electric gates straight away. Power cut was resolved by early evening, so all good.

The mosquitos! On the first night when we arrived I hadn’t thought to put on my repellant and my legs were covered in bites the next day ☹️

The privacy, the pool, and the view.

While the nearest village and taverna are close, nothing is at a walking distance - rent a car is a must.

Villa is the best I’ve stopped in, superb views, terrific sunsets, fantastic large pool, a clean & spacious villa, the main balcony overlooks the sea & will never forget the view & time spent there, Dimitris was so helpful even travelling to meet us making sure we found the villa OK, don’t want to go home loved every minute.
