no fuss, apartment with pool

The apartment is simple with an equipped mini kitchen with fridge. The rubbish have enough space with segregation. The room was clean. We chose the apartment because it has a pool! It has very good access to the beach and convenience stores. Walking time to beach can be between 5-10 minutes. There is no eating area in the room, but there was a summer kitchen/dining, where we could eat. The host is very kind and welcoming. He seems to like children.

During our stay, there was no internet, but not fault of the property, rather by the service provider. Suggestions for improvement: 1. Rails or hooks to hang towels/clothes in bathroom. 2. The garbage segregation like paper, plastic, etc. could be in the common areas to increase space in the kitchen.

Siamo stati al Family Friendly Apartment di Novigrad in quattro adulti (i nostri figli hanno 17 e 22 anni). Eravamo convinti, dalle foto viste su Booking, di aver prenotato un appartamento spazioso, come indicato nel nome della struttura e nelle immagini. Una volta arrivati, abbiamo avuto una spiacevole sorpresa: invece di un appartamento ci è stato assegnato un piccolo monolocale. Abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni al proprietario, che ha attribuito la responsabilità a Booking. Booking, a sua volta, ha ribadito che la colpa fosse del proprietario. Secondo quest’ultimo, l’agenzia partner Adriatic aveva indicato “studio” nella prenotazione, e da ciò avremmo dovuto capire che non si trattava di un appartamento vero e proprio. Tuttavia, il nome della struttura e le foto pubblicate inducono chiaramente a credere che si tratti di appartamenti, e non di un minuscolo monolocale. Il monolocale assegnato era assolutamente inadeguato per quattro persone. Abbiamo scoperto che su Booking è persino pubblicizzato come adatto a cinque ospiti (quattro adulti e un bambino), cosa che ci sembra del tutto ingiustificata. La superficie era di circa 22 m²: i due lettini erano attaccati tra loro e lo spazio tra questi e il letto matrimoniale permetteva il passaggio di una sola persona alla volta. L’armadio era piccolo e insufficiente per contenere bagagli e vestiti di quattro persone. Accanto all’armadio c’era un tavolino da pranzo molto piccolo, simile a un tavolino da esterno, con solo due sedie. Non c’era spazio per aggiungerne altre due, rendendo impossibile mangiare tutti insieme. La cucina era in realtà un angolo cottura minimal: un mini lavello con due fornelli, il forno a microonde a fianco, e nessuno spazio per preparare i cibi. Cucinare era praticamente impossibile, così come mangiare seduti in quattro.
