In summary I had a good stay. The person that came to give me the keys to the apartment was really nice and respectful.

I like the fact there was Netflix and other app that one can watch shows and movies of their own choosing. The space is good enough, and it’s a walkable distance to lot of stores and the open local market.

I didn’t like the fact that there were lot of things broken/damaged in the apartment. The second day of my stay they said a maintenance person is coming in. But as soon as I sent pictures and videos of things I found broken in the apartment no one showed up, either did they say anything. That made me feel they want to come in look for what is broken or damaged so they can keep the security deposit of $120. I am still waiting for my $120 to be refunded. I only stayed in the apartment to sleep, eat, and shower. I was out most of the day. So, I cannot possibly break/damage anything while sleeping.

Could’ve been better

The place was beautiful and so was the views

There was no tv connection ( didn’t have hdmi) , had no hand wash which was crazy. OMG the iron was no working we had to wear creased clothes over the weekend. There was no mop just a rug. I did not get value for my money I don’t want to lie. I see why the facilities ratings is very low please do better, we almost didn’t choose the place because of that but my optimism said let’s go and I regretted it. If you could fix where you are lacking I’d gladly come back.

Ok, could be better.

Close to the CTICC and central town. Parking available

Outside noisy, the receptionist was very unhelpful refusing to help because apartment not let by them. No instructions of who to get hold of. TV too small and too far from seating. Leaving the key instructions unclear - asked to leave key inside but thought that needed key to operate lift. Eventually left key on table, took picture but was still contacted a day later asking for the key. I did not get the requested invoice.

Had a comfortable and convenient stay at the Icon Apartments, perfect for both work and relaxation.

Comfortable and great location. Very clean and everything was in place for my stay.

I arrived earlier than expected and it took quite a while to be booked in. The person with the keys strictly followed the estimated time I supplied. I would've liked a bit more flexibility on this.

The apartment was spacious and was perfect for our needs.

The buildings lifts were really annoying. The tag fpr room 1402 did not work properly in certain lifts which meant you got stuck on floors waiting for a different lifts.

Horrible hospitality, lack of urgency and care by building security

Location

Walls are dirty and needed paint, balcony was not properly cleaned, no dstv channels to watch live sports, I had no parking bay for the duration of my stay, security in the building and property management failed to resolve the illegal parking since Thursday 3 April until Monday 7 April 2025. I was inconvenienced and left frustrated without allocated parking. Wi-Fi passwords were not provided on the day of checking in, I had to request them.

Felt there could have been proper / additional lock in the door besides only the Yale locked. Old habit to worry about safety. Lock seemed too flimsy and no actual lock mechanism in the door itself.

Cosy and safe stay

Very secure apartment, good bedding, linens clean and more than enough. We requested for the keys to be delivered to us at the apartment upon our arrival but the plane was delayed. Nevertheless the concierge was waiting for us at the apartment to welcome us. For our departure we had a late night flight and we were allowed to stay till noon in the apartment. All these small actions are very much appreciated…

At around 23h00-00h00 some residents decided to test the echo in the corridor so they started yelling to know who has the best and longest echo… so louder and louder!! Also our apartment was near the disposal bin so every time they throw their bine they banged the doors..

Terrible service.

It would have been good to have locks on the front door that weren't broken, (door had been forced) so that we could lock it when we went out. It would have been nice not to have the smell of drugs in the apartment on arrival. I would have preferred not to wait 4hours or so in reception for the keys to be delivered. We never did get the internet sorted for us.

The apartment was beautiful and clean! Very comfortable! There was a variety of streaming services to choose from which was awesome. The facilities were suuuuper safe which made me feel comfortable and safe during my stay. The location is great being right in the city and near everything. Super convinient! 10/10 would stay there again

Noise. There was 2 nights where there were other noisy people in the building till late at night, slamming doors and shouting in the echoy building.
