Perfect for our weekend break visiting family and Christmas markets.

The property is in a great location, a few minutes walk from Altona train station/subway, enabling us to reach other locations in the city easily. The property is in a quiet residential area with food shops, cafes restaurants all within a few minutes walk. The apartment is well-equipped, especially the kitchen - top marks for the amazing coffee machine. The bathroom had a particularly useful make-up mirror and a decent hairdryer. There are many sockets and USB ports around the place exactly where you need them. Klaus was so helpful in getting us transportation when we had to get back to the airport quickly shortly after arriving (we had a suitcase mix-up). The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and warm. It also benefits from outside areas which would be lovely in Summer, November in Germany meant we didn't really need them. Great communication with Klaus before arriving. We have stayed in many places through Booking, Klaus's place is one of the best.

most pleasant stay

Everything was absolutly perfect. The apartment, the comfy beds, the big so well equipped kitchen (+ a huge selection of tea and a great coffee machine), the central location, close to the Altona train station, and generaly within 30-40 minutes by foot from all major attractions. But the nicest thing was our host Klaus, who was very generous, very attentive, always looking to help and very efficient. We thank him so much for that.

although this wasn't a problem for us, it is important to note that there is no elevator in the building

What a great decision that was!

The location is excellent, with everything in minute-walk distance. The cleanness of the apartment is best described as clinical. Furniture, appliances, kitchenware... all the way to the fittings and toiletries; Branded quality stuff nothing short of luxurious. The bed! Shangri-La! The size of the apartment is more than enough for 2 people living there permanently. It comes with a "small" terrace providing sufficient space for at least 3 people gathering at COVID-save distance - easily. And Klaus, the host, is such a welcoming and sophisticated guy, I bet you will have offered your friendship before you check out...
