Minaret Suites and Apartments

Location, clean room, nice and friendly staff.

Just one thing missing - fresh air. I know it is written in their description that windows are inside the corridor, but still I wanted to highlight it.

Location was fantastic , 15 walk to the Nea Chora beach through the old town . Close to beautiful restaurants and wine bar . Incredible coffee shop at the end of the road . Our room had two small Juliet balconies overlooking the street that runs parallel to reception area . Was a little noisy but not overly disturbing. Windows overlooking the school opposite so don’t open shutters naked ….

We did not have any issues , hotel did not appear to have a lift . Not a problem for us but stairs from street are quite steep and then another flight up to two bedrooms

It was right in the heart of the old town, close to everything and very clean and well equipped.

Very helpful staff, who helped us take our cases up several flights of stairs. Also helped with getting cabs to and from airport and bus station and gave us good tips on local places to eat, there are lots of them nearby. Well located, in one of the main streets, just next to the Minaret, so easy to find. Basic double room , it had a window and a little court area outside, so I could sit and read, or have a tea , while companion slept longer. Clean and even left us a little bottle of Raki. The rooms with balconies looked nice.

We thought we had booked B&B, but not so. They do this rather silly offer, for 8 or 9 euros each, you can buy a box of overpriced sweet stuff. Why? For 6 euros, I got yogurt, bananas, and 2 just made pastries for 2 of us from local bakery. There are lots of other places to eat on the doorstep that have a more interesting and better value offer It's a pity, as they have a very nice, long table in the reception that would be great for breakfasts.
