Crescendo Splantzia

The property is really very beautiful, a tastefully renovated historic house in Chania‘s city centre. You have two (!) balconies, one including two sunbeds, a very nice kitchen and everything else is fine two. Several bus stations are nearby and you are in walking distance from the port and khoum kapi beach.

The sofa bed for the third person is not the most comfortable. If you‘re young and don‘t mind it for a few days, it should be fine though.

De locatie was uitstekend, je bent zo op de hoofdstraten van Chania old town. Je hebt hele leuke en lekkere restauranten in de buurt en het is maar op 10 minuten lopen van de parkeerplaatsen in de stad, wat prima te doen is. De kamer is ruim en de in en uitcheck procedure is gied geregeld, alles leek schoon.

Faciliteiten rondom de douche viel wel wat tegen. De douche zelf valt bijna uit elkaar met niet altijd heet water. De wifi was ook niet best, maar het kan zijn dat die op andere dagen wel goed was.

The location was excellent, close to everything. The furniture was okay, the balcony was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The overall vibe was positive, perfect for a young couple on a budget. Not suitable for families with small children or groups of friends above two.

There was no full-length mirror, just a small one above the sink in the kitchen/bathroom. There was no private bathroom; the shower was in the kitchen/living room next to the toilet. Basically, it was all one room. The communication was poor. Iron was burnt and unusable. The first night we arrived there was no hot water. We contacted the host. He only replied the next day.🙄 When we asked to stay an extra day for payment, he/she said they would respond later. We contacted them later again, no response. Only a text message next morning 15 minutes before check-out: Good morning… I’m afraid that you need to check out now because there is another reservation. Luckily, we had already booked our next place and were gone. Poor communication skills. We booked it as a family with an infant; the place was not stroller-friendly.
