Smetanovo nábřeží - Riverview Old Town Apartment

It was a very spacious apartment and it was in a great location. 3 couples stayed in the apartment and we had plenty off room.

No wardrobes in bedrooms to hang clothing which was a bit annoying.

We had an amazing stay at Smetanovo nábřeží – Riverview Old Town Apartment in Prague. The location is unbeatable – right across from Charles Bridge. The apartment is absolutely stunning and incredibly spacious – especially the living room, which is truly huge. It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a large bathtub), a separate toilet, and even a fireplace, which adds a great atmosphere. There is a coffee machine with capsules, which is a nice touch, but it would be even better to also have a corkscrew and some instant coffee available. Overall, we loved the place and would definitely come back again!

The only minor downside is the elevator – it’s quite small and might feel uncomfortable for anyone with claustrophobia. There are stairs as well, but they are quite steep, and the apartment is on the top floor.

Huge apartment, clean, beautiful location

Collecting keys 15 minutes from train station, then uber in opposite direction to apartment was a hassle. I had sent a message about making other arrangements if possible, response came hours later which by then we had keys and already at the apartment. Also in the message, they said I didn’t have to go to that first location to collect keys that there’s a keypad, but nothing was ever said about that prior to my arrival, no code mentioned so we were quite frustrated but other than that no complaints at all.

Location - and the apartment actually looks better in real life than in the pictures.

the staff is not good in English. They forgot to send us the code to the apartment even though I asked them 2 days in advance. We booked airport pick-up so they knew exactly when we where there. and I even texted them for the code when we landed the plane. So we had to postpone a dinner reservation and run to their check-in desk. (So we got the key to the apartment at 20:15 in the night) And when you write to them, they either ignore the message or doesn’t reply to all of the issues/questions. You cannot fully open the dishwasher due to bad design issues, but it do work.
