Apartments in Mala Strana - 10 minutes from Charles Bridge

The house was clean, well-decorated, and white. On top of everything, the heater and hot water ran so well! It’s difficult find that. Convenience stores are near, you can walk to Charles Bridge in 10 minutes, and the host took a good care of my stay.

The price was a little more than what I’d usually pay for accommodations, but it was the best offer for its price by the time I was booking.

Pretty much everything was spot on, the location was very good in Lesser Town which was a really lovely part of Prague, not too close to Old Town but still within 10 minutes of getting to the main hotspots by tram, of which there is a tram stop literally outside the front door, or everything is very easily walkable as well. The neighbourhood is very quiet at night, couldn't hear any noise from the street. The room itself was pretty spacious, excellent size for 1 or 2 people. The beds were pretty comfortable, had no issues sleeping and the curtains kept out the light really well too. The room has a heater that keeps everything nice and warm, but also has big windows or a fan if you'd rather be cooler. Wardrobe is very large with plenty of coathangers to hang your clothes up with. Fridge is a very good size and has its own freezer compartment. I didnt use them, but the apartment is fully kitted out with kitchen utensils for if you wanted to prepare your own food in the room. Shower had great water pressure and was instantly hot or cold. Wi-Fi worked perfectly the whole time that I was there. Price of the room was very reasonable and I'd definitely stay here again if visiting Prague Great location, quiet, very reasonably price and comfortable. Really highly recommend staying here

There's always a few gripes with any stay, none of which would dissuade me from staying here again, and at the end of the day its not a 5 star hotel so you can't expect perfection. Having said that my minor issues were - communication with hosts before arrival could have been better. In their defence, I did book only a few days before my stay, but they did take 2 days to reply with check-in information that did leave me a bit anxious the day before leaving (I don't imagine this would be an issue at all if you booked more in advance though). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, which is up 6 flights of stairs, which is a fair effort to get up even for an able bodied person (nothing they can do about it, but there is no lift so it wouldn't be accessible for the elderly or disabled). No key for the door, only a passcode number - I'm sure some people wont mind that, and I had absolutely no issues during my stay, but the idea that anyone with the passcode could let themselves in whenever they wanted didn't feel as secure as having a key would have done. No safe in the room for valuables - this goes with the passcode entry, just would have felt more secure knowing my passport etc was locked away securely during the day instead of having to take it everywhere with me instead. None of these issues were any real trouble and I'd happily book here again, but just worth mentioning.

The location was 15 minutes swift walk from the Charles Bridge. It had a microwave. The building, Art Nouveau in style and quite beautiful. The apartment was quiet with big light filled windows looking out onto a leafy square.

We booked 'A Studio'. The pictures did not portray the place accurately. They were a conglomerate of different rooms in the building. The little balcony was on another floor behind a continously lock door. The place was shabby and smaller than we were led to believe. The bathroom was tiny and needed a new shower curtain that was long enough not to flood the tiny floor and required a 'mop up' every time. It is a third floor walk up (90 steps) so you must be able bodied and not have too much luggage.
