A sensation of cleanliness and moderate luxury

Super clean and neat and tidy, with really friendly staff. The communications were super clear and straightforward with all the necessary details for self-checking. The room was spotless clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and I recommend it to others. However the location is bit further from the city center which is not a minus in my opinion because when you are searching for the hotel you will see the distance, so you can manage your transport by your car or bus. Btw, they have a wallbox for slow-charging if you have an electric car. I was lucky that I could use it.

The only downside is that the property only has one wallbox for charging electric cars and the price is separately to be paid. But I guess that would be fair since the electricity price for the cars should be considered separately. But maybe at least install more wallboxes so more people can charge overnight at the hotel.

Super hotel with parking (first come first served), very welcoming staff, who speak excellent English as well as several other languages, very generous and well appointed rooms which are serviced everyday and easy access to public transport enabling you to get into the heart of Luxembourg in 20 minutes. For those who want to dine in the restaurant in the hotel has an excellent and there is also a wide choice of restaurants a 5 minute walk down the street.

Highly recommended!

A very nice and friendly place to spend a few nights. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, well-equipped, the staff is very polite and friendly. It is a very good option if you wish to explore the city of Luxembourg or other places in the country: there is a railway station nearby, and the trains and public busses are completely free within the country! If you arrive by your own car, the parking may be crowded during the evening times when the restaurant is full. But still, you may try leaving your car at a public parking place at the railway station, and moving it closer to the hotel when more parking places are available. To sum up, highly recommended!

Good value, pleasant modern hotel

Self check-in for late arrival was smooth. Room was spacious and comfortable. There was fresh fruit on arrival in the room - a nice touch. The bathroom is open onto the bedroom which might not be to everyone's taste. Very modern, nice decor. Plenty of parking space. Nice place; would be happy to return.

Lovely quiet hotel with great rooms and very attentive staff.

We were greeted with a big welcome and two free coffees on the house. That's always a nice way to start. And our large airy room was cool and well furnished, easily to 4 star hotel standard.

Peaceful and cosy stay

The hotel is in a small town closed to Luxembourg, and had a gastronomic restaurant that I highly recommend. Everything was prefect: service, rooms, facilities, location....

Excellent place to stay for a few nights

Conveniently situated for bus and tram into Luxembourg city. The rooms are very nicely presented, ultra clean, every little extra thought of, quiet and comfy. Staff great, breakfast excellent. Best of the 33 hotels we've stayed at this year!

Beautiful unassuming boutique hotel just outside central Luxembourg

The hotel is a beautiful 8 room boutique hotel in a very green area just outside of central Luxembourg. From the moment we arrived the staff (specifically Marisol) were outstanding and took care of all our needs. The room was modern and well equipped. Fresh fruit and Nespresso facilities were provided in the room. We had dinner in the hotel and the cuisine was excellent. Highly recommend staying at this hotel. We will be back!

The design of the room. Spacious. clean. The open no door shower. The no reception key code check in was nice.

There was one window only and had direct full view of the church graveyard. We dident like that. Maybe some people are into that kinda thing and may like.

Delicious breakfast and a Michelin commendation for their cuisine; friendly and helpful owners and staff; confortable beds and clean rooms with modern bathrooms; on the bus route to the city; in a small village next to the Alzette River.

Good

Great, clean and well isolated room. The double room might be bit tight for two people, but great for one person. There is no door between shower and main room, just for the toilet in bathroom. The shower is walk in, great, despite it being bit low on pressure from the overhead head. Each day there is a set of snacks and fruits with coffee capsules and very small water bottles. Nice and tranquil neighborhood.

The apples were rotten, maybe don't shelve them for so long, also local varieties should be preferred. The AC/fan unit had a remote, but the remote had no batteries in it. TV would constantly ask for access code, remote wasn't very responsive, probably low charge batteries. The face mirror in the bathroom was loose and couldn't be fixed in position. Breakfast was quite disappointing, I chose the place, because of ratings stating breakfast was exceptional. If you have special diet needs, make sure to convey them before/during booking. In my case there was a bit of confusion involved despite stating it twice, but very friendly staff solved everything, yet I expected more.

All facilities are super clean and neat! Staff are friendly, dinner and breakfast are very tasty. Parking is just in front of hotel and free! I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

The cemetery garden is just in front of the window.. not too bad because it’s neat and pretty, but a bit weird.

There is usually always something missing when staying at hotels, but it's not the case at Hostellerıe Stafelter. Ihave been there several times and it is now my "go to" place to stay in Luxembourg.
