The Loghaven is a historic cabin on Little Saint Germain that captures a true “Up North” atmosphere while providing modern amenities and comforts. This 3 bedroom home is a great choice for families, couples, or groups of friends,; with 3 queen size beds, a sleeper sofa in the lower level and 2 & 1/2 baths.
Loghaven features free Wifi, a gas fireplace, a screened porch and full deck facing the lake! Sleeping 6 – 8 guests comfortably while offering some of the best views on the beautiful West Bay. You can’t get closer to Little St. Germain Lake than the Loghaven, just steps from the beach.
The Master bedroom, conveniently located on the main level, has windows along the west and north for fantastic four-season scenery. The other main level bedroom near the back of the home has a cozy, nestled-in-the-woods sense of privacy. The Lower level bedroom has a sliding glass door, offering great lake view with a private entrance, just a few feet from the lake. The flexible lower-level nook offers a quiet space to escape, an extra pull-out sleeper for guests, or room for the kids to take over.
Overlooking the beach, the three season, fully enclosed porch, lets you experience the Northwoods rain or shine. With a ceiling fan to create your own breeze, a couch for napping, and additional seating, you may never want to leave. A second, full deck on the West side of the home provides another way to enjoy the lake; watch for eagles and loons from the comfort of Adirondack chairs or dine under the stars at the picnic table. A weber, charcoal grill has been provided to enjoy the classic grilled food of lakefront vacations!
The open style living room and kitchen is a thrill for the home cook or the homebody, with a temperature-controlled gas fireplace that will make movie night, game night, or a good book a cozy treat. Cable TV and DVD player upstairs and a small second TV downstairs is also provided. You’ll find the kitchen fully appointed with cookware, bakeware and all the large and small appliances to cook even your pickiest eater a delicious treat.

The property was nice unless you want more space. The cabins were very close together. Our cabin had a steep spiral staircase to one of the bedrooms and 1/2 bath. Fortunately none of us have disabilities. The blinds in the downstairs bedroom were broken so we were unable to have complete privacy. I did report this to the manager and she assured me it would be repaired. Overall a nice place but we won't be staying there again.
