La cage aux folles B&B

We stayed three nights in this beautiful villa just outside Taormina Old Town, about a five minute walk from the free bus that takes you up to the centre every five minutes, so getting around was never something we had to think about. The location is perfect and the sea views from the villa are incredible. Our hostess, Carmelita, was so charming and kind, and she treated us like family from the moment we arrived. She made us a gorgeous breakfast every morning, she was helpful with absolutely everything we asked, and she even let us wash our clothes there, which anyone travelling for a few weeks knows is a small miracle. We left some things behind by accident and she posted them all the way back to us at home without us even having to ask twice. This was the best stay of our whole Sicily trip and I would recommend it one hundred percent to anyone looking for that rare combination of quality, location and price.

The breakfast at La cage aux folles is really amazing with very tasteful yoghurt, brioches and fruit. The lady of the house is super friendly and helpful. The terrace has a beautiful view over the sea. The B&B is located next to the bus station, which makes it very easy to go into town. Parking on the property itself is convenient.

Our stay here will remain a wonderful memory forever. Carmelita is an exceptional host - kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. The accommodation was beautiful, spotless, and offered a breathtaking sea view. The location was perfect: the free shuttle bus to the town center was only a two-minute walk away, while the center of Taormina could be reached in about ten minutes. Every morning we were greeted with a delightful breakfast on the terrace, truly like something out of a fairy tale. The terrace itself, together with the beautiful décor and attention to detail throughout the property, added so much to the overall experience. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Taormina. Thank you, Carmelita, for making our stay so special.
