Very comfortable bed, nice décoration, fairly central location near a lovely park
There was no duvet, just a couple of blankets, and it was cold at night

Nothing
The location was awful, really rough neighbourhood, it sounded like a nightclub was next door, loud music and people noise until the early hours. The stove didn’t work. I woke up with bites all over me from the bed, there was only one mug. The lighting to the accomodation was very poor. My daughter and I felt very unsafe. We paid for two nights but only stayed one night, and went somewhere else for our second night. I messaged the host on booking.com but got no response

All of the communication with the owner was clear straightforward and very helpful. The room was fine, and the area surprisingly interesting after the initial greyness of first impression. The bar/café/petanque place next door a great bonus and Le Bistro Josep up the hill equally excellent. The internal courtyard garden of the apartment was a good place to sit and meet other travellers.Good link to Tram 2 stop Palais de Longchamp.
The bed was too soft to my liking but other's might not mind.

Great "student" style accommodation for what I needed. Little kitchen TV, tine shower but all that one needed. Quiet neighbourhood right next to the Art Tunnel and La Friche so ideal for my conference. Easy, clean and cheap and close to the heart of Marseilles. A half hour walk from the main docks.

We had a big terrace at the back of the room. There’s a good bar 2 doors down that does nice food.
Quiet location. The big terrace made it feel more roomy. Bit of a hike down to the old port - about 40 minutes

BED BUGS!!! BED BUGS!!!!!!
Do not go to this place. We woke up at 4am with itchy legs and discovered MANY bugs in our bed. The property would not reply to us and we left, booking somewhere else and had to get booking.com to get a reply and refund from them. They are refusing to pay back the night we stayed, even though we couldn’t even sleep in the bed with the amount of bed bugs present. We have lots of photo proof.

Not a great deal..I'd not return.
Convenient location for bus & train stations, although not the most attractive area.
The bedroom floor was constantly wet, from a leaking fridge, leaving a potentially dangerous slippery floor.

That it had a window and a portable air conditioner, also good wifi
Sheets weren’t clean and had stains on them
Pillows were very thin and uncomfortable
Toilet too small
No elevator

There was everything you would need in the room. Fridge, microwave, oven, showers, coffee maker, blackout curtains and stove to mention but a few. Also we visited there in august and the room temperature was suprisingly suitable
The location. It was quite far from the city and the neighborhood was relatively dirty. Also the room was a little bit mirthless, no colors or anything.

Position is good enough
The room is very dirty and uncomfortable. The sheets had several stains, even blood.

I like the facilities like washing machine, ironing, small kitchen which is good. With nice garden. Location is quite okay, it’s quite and not far from the center, close to the station.
Also, the girl is quite helpful
No fan or ac which makes the room so hot and humid at nights. We could not open a window or door as then people could see us ( with better curtain will be ok ). Sound proof is bad . Bed is terrible and need to be change as we both had pain everywhere because of it

Large room
Super clean
Equipment ok
No AC, only a noisy ventilator
Very small bathroom
Although requested, no parking service required
Uncomfortable bed

The appartment/studio we rented was l9cated in the 4th arondissement, which is one of the older neighbourhoods of Marseille. It is llovely to stroll towards the cafés at the squares...The subway is some 10 minutes away. The appartment was neat and tidy. It was superhot during our stay and we survived our nights thanks to the fan. There's no airco. The studio has a beautiful garden and terrace that is accessible to everyone
I would have given a 9 out of 10, but some of the utilities didn't work in our kitchenette. We ate soaked pasta instead of cooked pasta :D. That's what you get when you want to travel lowcost...

The property is clean. It’s very very simple, you get what you pay for here, but there’s a fridge, sink, tv, towels etc. this is all welcome for the price you’re paying. The arrangements for late arrival, keys and codes etc all very efficient.
Note, the location isn’t especially near the port and historical centre. Fine if you like walking, about 25 minutes from train station and 40 from old port/town. No air con or fans in rooms: it’s very hot in summer.

Really great value for money and a very large room
The location was a little far out from the centre and on a slightly dodgy road.

The check in was easy and taken care of - thank you to Guillaume
It was quiet in the building.
The apartment is not in a great area and we didn’t feel comfortable walking at night. It is also quite loud with the sounds of trains at all times of the day and night.
The bed totally dipped inwards which made it very difficult for two people to share it.
It was extremely hot without an AC in summer, so make sure you are aware that there is only a small fan.
The bathroom is very small and it is challenging for one person to fit comfortably in the shower

Very clean and had everything you need including a washing machine which was free to use which was great!
The area isn’t the best however it is not too far from the train station
5.0 / 10.0
The area around the place is nice and it is easy to walk from the station to the location and from the location to nice sightseeing in the city.
the shower is extremely small and it is not possible to take a shower there.
the mattress is not comfortable at all and the room is a bit smelly.

nothing
room and bedclothes smelled of dampness, when it rained there was a stream of water pouring from an empty light socket in the ceiling into the main hallway at the front door,. you are expected to hoover your own f*****g room! 😂😂😂 (which is not in the description on booking.com btw). you get two towels for your whole stay and when you ask for more they tell you they have no more to give. we’ve stayed in cheap places before but this was less than basic, it was unwelcoming. the pictures show the “house rules” and the space where a smoke alarm used to be

Great place to stay! Clean, peaceful, hot water, comfortable beds, 20min walk to St Charles station. Value for money!
Lack of natural light cause its in ground floor.

Very clean room with all basic necessary facilities. Good price to quality ratio.
Location is awful. The local sorting train station is just behind your window, so it gets quite noisy from time to time. Plus the area around the apartment does not feel safe at all, especially at night. Wouldn`t recommend to solo travelers.

There was a weird smell in the bathroom that didn't go away. And the room just didn't feel clean at all. Furniture are old, there was spots on the bedding. Never before I've been woken up an hour and a half before the check out time by staff to get told twice I need to leave by eleven. They just wanted us to leave there and then. Not even gonna dicuss the doll size shower cabin. There is no staff, some woman showed up twice for the money and to tell us we need to leave. You can't pay with card which is huge incovinience, who walks around with stacks, especially in the area that the building is located. We didn't have enough cash when the lady showed up, so I had to pop to an atm for more. 2 days I was trying to contact them and give the rest. Honestly I could've just left without paying. When we did the reservation, I had a chat with someone who left me with the impression they speak English. They do not, not even a bit. And even on booking, they just stopped replying after I asked twice where should I leave the money. Oh, and there was some taxes we had to pay, so the price was slightly different from the one on booking. I can't prove it of course because they just take the money, no receipts or anything.

Close to the centre of Marseille ( environ 25min on foot) , Is a cozy room with all the things: kitchen for cooking, small bathroom, TV etc.). You can Cook and be Independent. There Is a small bar near the residence call "the flash", you can drink a beer close to the room. It Is in a silent street so you can sleep good in the room
nothing in special, maybe see the owner. But i love It the room.

The check-in and check-out was easy and room quite spacious.
The linen and towels were old and weren't the most clean. The shower was tiny and generally everything could be more tied-up. The view from the window was at the old railway station which first looked like a prison. I don't really think the stay was worth the price I paid for.
