Maison Marseille-Longchamp - Havre Art Déco & Business - Vieux-Port - Gare

This a real hidden gem. From the street you would not expect to find a quite grand hotel hidden behind the quite unassuming front door. Lovely public rooms that exude a sense of history. Comfortable rooms that likely to be unique in shape and decoration. Breakfast was also quite good. Only drawback is that for some of the rooms, the lift is only to carry luggage.

It's a bummer when you learn that your room is on the second floor and the lift only carries your luggage.

I was delighted by the hotel and charmed by the staff. My bed was super comfortable. Everything in the room was neat and clean.

the coffee at breakfast was from a machine. Obviously this is convenient but not good. I arrived at the tale end of breakfast and most food had been eaten. Upon my request, I was served with pastries and croissants and a delicious melon. I left -despite the coffee - very happy

We were happily surprised at the beauty and authenticity of the work done to restore this building. It makes for the most beautiful surprise as you enter your room and see the most wonderful high ceilings, fireplace and decor...stunning....would highly recommend staying here....the breakfast was more than adequate lots of choice and all in the amazing conservatory....Good value for money ...😊

The only slight change I would make would be the shower could do with a screen a quarter screen or bifold would do the job....just to reduce the over spray from the shower...into the walk through to the toilet ..it's being picky but as the rest is so good .... It's what I would do....as a builder and designer

Nous avions réservé deux chambres pour quatre personnes et payé le tarif correspondant. Plusieurs éléments ont malheureusement affecté notre séjour. Les lits étaient assez étroits, et les chambres semblaient préparées pour une seule personne (un seul jeu d'oreillers, un seul verre à dents, une seule paire de bouchons d'oreilles). L'une des chambres était également très petite. Le point le plus problématique reste qu'une de nos chambres a été laissée ouverte toute une journée après le passage du personnel alors que nous l'avions fermée en partant. Trois ordinateurs portables se trouvaient à l'intérieur. Heureusement, rien n'a disparu, mais cette situation est difficilement acceptable. Par ailleurs, l'ascenseur était en panne alors que nous étions logés au deuxième étage, sans information préalable, et l'isolation phonique des chambres était insuffisante (bruits de la rue et des étages supérieurs).
