This property is incredible. after a boat ride, you walk up to your own tiny paradise. you’re greeted and shown this little slice of heaven which the owner calls your home. you have your own cook tailored to meals whenever you want. The house is built to the finest comforts and there’s no detail left unturned. we were offered a shaman ceremony- which was amazing and then hiked and ran the whole island. it’s absolutely breathtaking and worth the splurge plus the no Wi-Fi was the most amazing disconnection time. we were able to be present and take it all in! we will definitely be back!

The property it self is amazing and that is the only thing.
It saddens us to see how a beautiful property like this lacks so many basics, including sincerity. We were extremely appalled by what was offered to us at the lodge in terms of food. we had paid an extra charge of $50 for a chef to visit us and prepare our dinner. After the dinner was served, we requested to meet the chef to talk a little about his “neo-Andean” Chef’s Menu as was sent to us by email- because what he served didn’t look anything like the description, and I quote, “...inspired by the nature of the island and cooked with local ingredients.” Shockingly, we were told that the chef couldn’t make it and one of the ladies had prepared the food. The food was a mushroom-vegetable sauté with french fries. How is this $50 worth of food per person!! Our lunch was vegetarian as well (even though we never mentioned that we were vegetarians to the property owner or to whom we discussed the food selections with), but we didn’t complain because we had already kept in mind that a local chef was preparing our lavish dinner. Also, the butler service wasn’t a butler service due to the far proximity of where our butler was. We saw him a few times but had to hunt him and his other staff members down to get the basics, like hot beverages and fruits. Also, the transportation through the speed boat wasn’t so speedy, and took us a few hours to reach. For a $200 payment we assumed there would be something more convenient and with more facilities, like beverages for example. Be aware of scam!!! It bothers me to note the negatives that happened to my friend and I during our stay, but we truely and genuinely do not suggest this lodge to anyone. There are so many beautiful places in Peru
