Dambulla Rock Arch is a great family run guesthouse. It is right in the middle of Dambulla town, but up a driveway so it is away from the noise of the main town. Each room has its own balcony to sit out on of an evening looking into the quiet gardens surrounding the main home. The rooms are all the same, all big and airy, comfortable beds, very clean, great hot water shower, large bathroom. Rooms come with a sitting area inside also and a small kitchenette to make tea and coffee with a small fridge. The breakfasts are generous and slightly different each morning.
There are a few restaurants nearby for dinner and lunch. Restaurant 11 (a take on 7/11) across the road is pretty good.
Very friendly hosts, highly recommend this guesthouse.

Fantastic hotel! Dambulla is a bustling city and the main road is as busy as they come. 100m down a side road and you are in a completely different environment! It's calm and quiet.. the hotel is lovely and the main house where you are greeted is old and cool. The hosts are welcoming and you feel like you are home. The room is great - a small kitchenette with fridge, lovely bathroom and very comfy bed. Seating outside and a nice outlook.

Really good position in Dambulla and nice staff
The hotel was not so clean, blankets at first were so dirty: we asked to change them and they did, but the new ones were not so better. Moreover you can not pay with card.
