Apartment Lujak

We have been 3 days at Lujak apartment. It's the upper floor of a nice house surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, flowers..., a lovely orchard. The apartment is big, ideal for 4 people, and it has a beautiful terrace looking to the marvellous Don Gjivan Bay. The apartment has 2 complete bathrooms and all the tools and commodities one may need. So we have been very comfortable. The place is located 3' walking away from Gornje Čelo port, where some small ferries arrive. There is a lovely beach and also an excellent restaurant by the sea (Konoba Škerac). The main port and town are 30' walking through fields of olive trees, pines, pomegranates, orchards and beautiful country houses. At that side there's only one little shop, so the advisable is to arrive with the shopping already made. Pero and his family have been very communicative. It's been a pleasure to meet them. Pero gave us a taxi-boat ride at our arrival from Dubrovnik (60 €). His mother and daughter gave us figs and grapes from their garden and 3 pieces of a delicious apple pie. So we only have good words for them. They are kind and true people. We have enjoyed very much that little paradise and we hope to go back again to that lovely corner of the world which is the island of Koločep.

The Lujak family were wonderful hosts and couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, with easy access for swimming, and the apartment had everything we needed, along with an amazing view. This was our third visit to Koločep, so we already knew it was the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday. There is a small shop on the island, but we'd recommend stocking up at the supermarket near the port in Dubrovnik before coming over. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning again.

Nothing it was perfect

Heel mooie ligging op eilandje Kolocep. prachtig uitzicht vanaf het balkon. Fijne baaitjes om te zwemmen. Aardige gastheer, we werden opgehaald vanaf dubrovnik met een kleine bootje tegen betaling van 60 euro.

De keuken was niet heel uitgebreid uitgerust. De winkel op het eiland is 30 minuten lopen wat op zich niet erg is maar het aanbod in de winkel is erg summier. Voor enkele dagen is het goed te doen. slaapbank in de woonkamer niet heel comfortabel
