Outside area
Fresher breakfast, probably good for early risers but as a late riser I thought breakfast left open on table suffered.

Beautifully restored former grand home with lovely small pool and delightful breakfast. Not too far to walk up to the main part of town.
Beautiful breakfast, not a huge spread but top quality ingredients which you could have in the breakfast room or outside by the pool.
Unfortunately there is no lift and we were on the second floor. There are no guest rooms at ground level so the hotel wouldn’t be suitable for those who can’t do winding stairs.
Admittedly it was very hot but the air conditioning could only just cope.

The location was great....short walk to the promenade....staff were very helpful.
Our room had a timber floor which squeaked and would have had to have been the noisiest floor ever to walk on. I mean ever. We had to get up at 400am to get a train to bordeaux and we were tiptoeing around for an hour before we left.
