The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was really comfortable. The atmosphere was great, and we were made to feel very welcome. The location was perfect for our requirements.
These are small points but there was only one cup in our room and no teaspoon.
A sink in the room would have been a big help, as would a separate toilet to use if someone else was having a shower.
There were no alcohol free beer options and no pen for the guest book!

The property is very good value and quite centrally located. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly.
The bathroom was shabby and the whole place felt a bit rough around the edges.

You cannot fault the place for the price. More than half price of its nearest competitors. Yes the decor is a bit tired but the rooms are a great size and I sleep like a baby when I stay here. The staff are great, so much so that I play chess with one of them, every time I stay!
Shared bathroom but I have never had any problems. The shower is hot and powerful. Never had anyone trying to interrupt/use the bathroom at the same time as me
