I expect more for such a price

Superb location

For the high price, I expected at least a few basics, such as some soap, some tea or coffee (equipment was there), some information about the facilities and area, etc., but there was nothing at all - not even the WiFi code. I did request a short extension (under an hour) for check-out, but this was flatly refused by reminding me of the checkout time! Fair enough, but it lacked any warmth. At these prices, I expect more. Of the four other places in Crete I stayed, this stood out for the reasons above. All the others were cheaper (even a stunning place in the heart of Chania old town), friendly, and with extensive facilities. So - great location, very clean, functional, but that's it.

Situated at the edge of the Center near the fortress in a small side street. Very quiet environment. Nice garden and property. Apartment had a terrace.

As I was staying only 1 night I was given only an apartment at the lower floor. Owner business friendly and rushed through the checkin to leave again. Room very small with restricted space. Very basic cooking facilities. Room on the lower floor on the more dark side.

EXCELLENT

Excellent quality in all Studios . Excellent quality and spacious . Excellently equipped with everything , for the studios . Excellent host , excellent staff and excellent workers . In the centre of Paleochora , in a very quiet place . In a green garden full of flowers . 2 minutes from the beach , and 2 minutes from the shops . we recommend it unreservedly to every visitor to Paleochora . We thank you very much !!!!

Although it is central, lacks some basic details to make our stay confortable.

The Hotel is central

The Hotel is central, but lacks some basic detils. A shower head hook would be better, and a better stocked utensil draw would be ideal. Also there is a very bright light in our room (possibly a fire detector) that was so bright we couldnt sleep. There is no parking at all.

Exceptional

Wonderful location near the ferry port, beautiful beach and restaurants. 10 minute walk to all. Clean and quiet room with all the bathroom amenities, water and sodas in the fridge. Margarita and Valentis were such caring and thoughtful hosts by making sure we had everything we needed when we requested it and made sure we had the perfect parking spot outside the property! Beautiful church next door and lovely to see the families there enjoying their Sunday. Really a magical spot for the perfect stay in Paleochora!

Great location, think other rooms would be nicer but ours wasn't good value for money

Location was great close to lots of cool restaurants and bars. Getting keys was very easy and room was clean

Room was smaller than ones in the photographs (ours not photographed) bed was really uncomfortable and creaky. Thin walls so could hear conversations next door. We left two nights early and it would of been nice to of been offered a small refund of some kind but when I gave critical feedback I was met with a 'OK THANKS!' text message

This was our second visit staying at Margarita studios, we stayed for 8 nights and found the price to be reasonable. The family are very friendly and always check to see that you have everything that you need. The apartment has a good wifi connection is very clean and also situated in a good location and is surprisingly quiet, we will return next year for sure and will definitely recommend Margarita studios for anyone thinking of staying in Paleochora.

The best value price ratio during our whole stay in Crete with thoughtful and nice staff.

The location is close to the center with bars and restaurants but a bit aside so there is no noise which was perfect. We were very warmly welcomed and the service from the staff was very thoughtful. The equipment of the room was the best we had in Crete, the kitchenette was really well equipped. This accommodation really thinks about the needs of the guests (e. g. makeup wipes in the bathroom).

Pleasant apartments in the town of Paleochora in very easy walking distance to restaurants and shops

Nice airy apartment near the church and fortress and center of things in Paleochora. Easy access to everything. Pleasant garden. Balcony off the room. Chilled spring wayer and two bars of yummy chocolate in the fridge was a nice welcoming surprise.

Balcony was a bit narrow, and the view in one direction was pretty much into the wall of the neighbouring house. However, giiven that this was a house in the center of town, that would be hard to do anything about. The owner did all he could to try to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Übersichtlich, aber in toller Lage!

Die Lage ist phänomenal. Direkt unterhalb der Festung. Ruhig, obwohl nur wenige Meter von der „Shopping- und Tavernen-Meile“ entfernt. Liebevoll mit unterschiedlichen Blumen und Pflanzen angelegt. Wasserkocher, kleine Kaffeemaschine, Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden. Kühlschrank (sogar mit Eisfach). Sowohl Fensterläden von außen als auch ein Rollo von innen sorgen für gute Verdunkelung des Raumes. Fliegengitter vor Fenster und Tür. Den Fernseher habe ich gar nicht genutzt. Zwei Steckdosen am Bett.

Mir fehlte eine kleine Kochplatte. Gewöhnungsbedürftig war für mich, ohne Duschvorhang zu duschen (besser die Toilettenrolle vorher in Sicherheit bringen!). Keine Steckdose im Bad, aber direkt vor der Schiebetür.

Uitstekend prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Fijn appartement aan de rand van het dorp vlakbij strand.

De locatie was heel goed: vlak bij restaurants en terrasjes maar toch heel rustig. Op 5 minuten loopafstand van een heel mooi en breed zandstrand. Parkeren was makkelijk bij de locatie. Mooie planten rond het gebouw.

Badkamer was vrij klein met een douchegordijn maar functioneerde wel goed.
