Hidden gem - little private paradise:)

We spent a wonderful week at the end of September / beginning of October in this beautiful, peaceful place. The location is simply magical—private, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The accommodation is basic, but it has everything you need. The bed was comfortable, the shower had warm water, and we enjoyed making breakfast on the balcony every morning. We also cooked dinner there twice. There’s no TV, but honestly, we didn’t miss it at all. On the last day, it got a bit colder, but the electric heater provided made it easy to stay warm. There’s a small shop on the main road with a limited selection of products, and a few good restaurants in Trepejca village, though you’ll need to go up the hill and back down to reach them. If you want to explore further, there’s a bus to Ohrid that stops right next to the shop. The weather was around 20°C during our stay, and we swam in the crystal-clear lake every day. The water was surprisingly warm—just 30 seconds to adjust, and you’re fine! Hiking opportunities are just steps away from your little house, with beautiful mountains to explore. We even had some fun encounters with local wildlife: cows coming to the lake to drink, kittens and dogs visiting our stone beach, and we rescued a little crab that had gotten lost in the garden. We had excellent contact with Misho on WhatsApp. On the day of our arrival, he welcomed us with a bottle of homemade rose wine. We also met his parents, who live in Trepejca—they invited us for a glass of their homemade red wine. They are genuinely warm and friendly people. We felt like visiting old friends, and they even gave us fresh eggs from their own chickens for breakfast on the balcony the next morning. This place truly feels like a hidden gem, perfect for those who want to unwind, enjoy nature, and experience genuine hospitality.

Accommodation right in front of the lake. We liked the terrace/balcony where we can prepare food overlooking the lake. Great outdoor space.

We had a big car so we had some difficulty with parking. There are free parking space. Not a negative review but something to be aware of.

Perfect beach getaway!

This guest house exceeded all our expectations — the location is unbeatable, right on the beach with crystal-clear water just steps away. Watching the sunset from the patio each evening felt like something out of a movie. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What really made our experience special were the owners — so welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind people who went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. You can tell they truly care about their guests. If you're looking for a peaceful, picture-perfect getaway with unbeatable views and warm hospitality, this is the place. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!

It's too tight a space to mix with partiers and those seeking relaxation. I had no serenity at all.

Beautiful location.

The property felt like more of a frat house than a stay on a serene beach. I was the only other guest aside from a family that played very loud music from 9AM until well after midnight, and essentially got drunk and trashed the common areas. To get to my room I had to pass through their festivities and they had clearly claimed all common areas as theirs. Not the hosts' fault per se, but it shouldn't be rented to other guests if the intended use for another group is an all-night keg party on a beautiful beach. I want to hear waves lapping, I heard hammered guests playing music at top volume at all hour.

Wonderfully calming

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this beautiful house right on the shores of Lake Ohrid. The view from the house is absolutely stunning — waking up to the calm water and soft morning light was magical. One of the biggest highlights was having the beach right in front of the house. It made everything so easy, especially with a baby. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was the perfect mix of peace, privacy, and natural beauty — ideal for a young family. We felt safe and calm the entire time, and our baby loved the fresh air and gentle lake breeze. It’s hard to put into words how peaceful and special this place felt. We’ll definitely be back — hopefully many more times as our little one grows. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location on the lake with friendly owners and neighbours

Beautiful peaceful location just a 10 minute walk from the village, with it's own private bay. Very friendly owner who quickly answered all my questions, including helping me with bus transport to and from Ohrid, renting a SUP, with WiFi etc. Made me feel very welcome. Very friendly neighbours. Beautiful view right on the lake.

Some dust and spider webs in the corners, but apart from that quite clean.

Fantastic location on the beach. The little bay has crystal clear water. While Trpeja around the corner gets very busy, this bay stays calm and relaxed. The guesthouse offers simple comfort. We had everything we needed, enjoyed living right next to the water, cooking and eating outside and playing with the kittens. Very child friendly environment. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would have loved to stay longer!

Relaxing spot by the lake

Exceptional location by the lake and the owner was really nice. We were the only ones staying in the property, so we had the whole front yard for ourselves. It's a pity we didn't have time to stay more than one night.

The bathroom is very small, and everything gets wet after taking a shower. The road to the house is not the best and we first parked in front of the wrong house, but apart from that everything was great.

the location is beautiful. very quiet with a few other properties in the lake. there are some steep steps down to the property which was fine for us but if you have limited mobility might be difficult.

Peaceful and relaxing stay in simple but beautiful cottage.

Lovely patio, well looked after with flowers and a big table for outdoor eating. We loved cooking outside enjoying the sunset. It felt less touristy than the main beach with fishermen coming and going in their small boats.

There were no restaurants open and the shop has no fresh produce so we had a very limited dinner of pasta sardines and sweet corn on arrival. If you come out of season be sure to stock up but don’t let this put you off because it’s a lovely spot.

Las vistas eran espectaculares. Pequeño apartamento a pie del lago. El señor fue muy amable ya que tuvimos problemas para cruzar la frontera y llegamos muy tarde y igualmente vino a recibirnos.

Lokalizacja nad samym jeziorem w bardzo cichym i spokojnym miejscu. Troszkę trudny dojazd wąską drogą, do domku z 3 pokojami trzeba zejść 20 m po schodach.Pokoje obszerne, łóżko wygodne. Łazienki mają znak czasu ale są czyste. Wadliwie zaprojektowana zaslona prysznicowa powoduje rozlewanie wody po całej łazience. Kuchenki elektryczne i sprzęt kuchenny na zewnątrz pokoi pozwalają na samodzielne przygotowanie posiłków. Gospodarz OK chociaż słabo rozumie po angielsku, ale porozumielismy się
