Blue Bay Guest House

Beautiful location right on the lake, with the most perfect place to swim! Easy access in and out of the water, and a wonderful outdoor area for cooking and eating dinner. The owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming, and you really feel the warmth of this being a family-run place. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

A simple fan in the room would be great when the air is still, and a dish cloth in the kitchen would also be nice. These are just small suggestions, though — overall I really loved staying here, especially being right on the water and having such an easy, beautiful place to swim. The owners are lovely, the place is clean and comfortable, I think it is a really wonderful choice on Lake Ohrid. I would happily stay here again!

Os senhores que nos aguardaram, e apesar do seu inglês, foram super acessíveis e prestáveis. As condições da casa, interiormente, podem não ter o maior luxo mas a casa em si e o que a envolve são impagáveis. A paz e calma, os vizinhos, a vista desafogada diretamente no lago para nadar. Tínhamos de vários utensílios para cozinhar e todas as comodidades básicas mas essenciais a uma estadia de retiro, nomeadamente frigorífico, lençóis, toalhas.

Tudo ótimo. Modernizar talvez, mas talvez nem faça sentido :)

Beautiful location.

The property felt like more of a frat house than a stay on a serene beach. I was the only other guest aside from a family that played very loud music from 9AM until well after midnight, and essentially got drunk and trashed the common areas. To get to my room I had to pass through their festivities and they had clearly claimed all common areas as theirs. Not the hosts' fault per se, but it shouldn't be rented to other guests if the intended use for another group is an all-night keg party on a beautiful beach. I want to hear waves lapping, I heard hammered guests playing music at top volume at all hour.
