Risto's Guest House

1) Absolutely loved the innkeepers, Anita and Risto. Very personable, hospitable, and kind hosts! 2) The breakfast was ample and delicious. 3) The view from the room was fantastic. 4) The village of Elshani, where the guesthouse is situated, is really lovely. At first, we thought it was a little far from Ohrid (25 minutes, and up a long, steep, hill, on a curvy road), but we realized after a day or so that staying here was preferable (for us, at least) to staying in the much more touristy town of Ohrid.

We liked everything about our experience at Risto's.

A very big and clean room, comfortable for 4 persons. Had parking for our motorbikes! Very friendly host, kind and communicative, made our stay very easy, gave us advice and directions. The breakfast was great with local products and most important house made Welcome rakija or coffee was a nice touch! Balcony with a view.

The hosts Anita and Risto are incredibly warm and welcoming. They treated us like friends. They make a fabulous, generous breakfast. They helped us book a boat tour and our girls got to ride their donkey, Milka. Our stay at Risto’s was a trip highlight! Next time we are staying for a week. The rooms were big and clean and comfortable. The garden is incredibly beautiful, as is the view of lake Ohrid. Stay at Risto’s!

Very cosy and beautiful property with a lot of flowers and traditional design Amazing landscape from their property. Risto and Anita, the owners are kind and warm people .
