Cosy and good value
A lovely, spacious place with 3 bedrooms, perfect for us and 3 older children. Perfectly placed for visiting our son who lives nearby. There was enough seating both around the projector screen and around the dining table. The.kitchen was small but well equipped. The heating worked very well. I was a bit worried it would be cold being February but it definitely wasn't. It was lovely to hear the birds in the trees in the morning. The beds were also very comfortable.
It is slightly odd that the bathroom is between 2 bedrooms so have to walk through the middle bedroom with 2 single beds to get to the bathroom. This wasn't an issue for us however. Both doors to the bathroom lock from the inside of the bathroom so there are no privacy issues. Just takes a little communication!

Overall fabulous
To be honest pretty much everything was perfect the house was immaculate, well presented, the kitchen was extremely well equipped and everything was perfection standard clean, I personally loved the surround sound system as I am deaf as a post, the area of property is very picturesque. Lovely friendly welcome. Nice to have a big tv and comfy seating which many places lack. Overall fabulous
The only reason for any issue for us was what we considered to be a very late check-in 3pm and seeing as they live next door it seemed odd as when requested earlier check on was refused due to needing to clean it? So basically your paying for a day your not really there for. Similarly for the very early check-out 10am. What I couldn't understand is if you're leaving at 10am and you can't check in until 3pm due to cleaning and they live next door, why isn't it possible to have check in much earlier even if it's 1pm??. That's the only thing that lets it down for us. However still fab overall 🙂

Disappointing
House was nice
Too close to owners house but we didnt see them to be fair, it says pub 150 yds away but it's been shut for 2 yrs, not much to do at all in the area couldn't even get a taxi, there is a small play area for kids outside and that's it, the weather wasn't great while we were there so trying to keep the creamy coloured carpet clean with the kids in an out was a nightmare
