We first stayed in El Olivo in 1997, 29 years ago. We had such good memories that we decided to go back. It was as good this time as it was then. Our host, Isidoro, still charming, friendly and helpful. Benalauría is a lovely white village - much better than some of the more famous ones. Don’t miss it.

Me encantó las vistas hacia la montaña desde la azotea. Me encantó el pueblo, su gente y la buena persona que hemos conocido, Isidoro, el dueño de la casa que es super amable, una experiencia preciosa. Benalauria es precioso.

La ubicación espectacular. Las vistas insuperable. El pueblo es muy hermoso y la casa tiene su personalidad. El pan del pueblo. El silencio,la tranquilidad. La chimenea con horno para poder hacer pizzas, papas asadas, manzana al horno,etc. ( Nos dimos un banquete)
En la fecha que fuimos ( inicio de marzo) hacia mucha humedad, llovió y frio. Las paredes y el suelo irradiaban una humedad y un frió que la chimenea era incapaz de compensar . En la planta superior un solo radiador era incapaz hasta el punto de que parecía que no funcionaba. Hace falta mejorar la calefacción en invierno.
