A few days in paradise.

We loved Benalauria, the property and especially the horse who lived opposite

Benalauria is one the prettiest white villages we have seen (seen most!) and the views from the property are absolutely astounding - panoramic and far reaching, we could pick out Gibralta from the roof top terrace. The house is lovely, comfortable and well equipped, the neighbouring hosts most pleasant and welcoming.

It was an unfortunate blip, not a criticism of the property, but it happened to be soooo very hot when we were there that, coupled with Covid restrictions on bars / restaurants, meaning there was nowhere to go out to - again, no fault of the property, it just happened to be so - we could really have done with some air con, if only in the bedroom, which was incredibly hot!

Great all around atmosphere.

I really enjoyed the personal contact with Isidoro and his familiy, who always had time to respond to my wishes. The house has a wonderful roof terrace with a great view of the landscape. The inhabitants of the mountain village as well as the mountain village itself convey a cosy warmth so that one feels at home. It was an excellent escape from my home.

Pueblo preciosísimo, acogedor y muy cuidado para disfrutar de él y de los alrededores. Gente encantadora y hospitalaria. Terraza con excelentes vistas.

La luz del techo del dormitorio da algo de luz aunque esté apagada. No tiene mucha importancia pero prefiero estar a oscuras del todo.
