Dirty rooms

The staff on the desk were very polite and helpful

The room was very dirty. I found a dead frog next to the bed and it had been there so long that it had dried out. The towels were dirty My bedding wasn’t changed all week. I brought this to the attention of the manager and he just smiled and then charged me for a coke I had. I had to clean the sink myself and it was filthy. This is my first negative I have done Photos attached are of what I described. Towel on a after 60 seconds of wiping the sink myself

Beautiful stay in Bali

The private villa was huge and very comfortable. The grounds were immaculate and the pool was the perfect size to relax and cool down. Staff were very helpful and lovely during our stay

We lost running water for 1 day in the villa. However the staff were quick to fix the problem for us.

Lovely staff. Beautiful garden. Kids loved our private pool. We had a villa, it was peaceful with cicadas and birds and tropical flowers. The breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and responsive to requests. On edge of busy part of town, relatively easy to walk to Monkey Forest.

The room furnishings are sparse, not enough comfortable places to sit. Small details were missing - like few electrical outlets, toilet paper and towel racks in inconvenient place, AC in rooms was variable. Water pressure only OK.

Good service. Zero wastage breakfast policy- each guest had to confirm his breakfast choice for the next day on a daily basis. Economical rates for a group booking. Many restaurants and a mart within walking distance. Meals can be ordered through Grab.

No telecom in the rooms. Insufficient air conditioning in the rooms. Had to get fans arranged for.

Loved our stay here

Lovely quiet villa with our own pool and garden. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Great value for money

The water pressure was a little weak in the shower and the aircon was stuck at a low temperature. We just turned it off at night and the room stayed cool. Very minor complaints and the good definitely outwayed any negatives

Great Value, but Improve Details!

Staff were pleasant and check-in process was smooth. Communication was also great! We had a big group and they did a good job accommodating our needs. I booked the suite which was very clean and comfortable - no complaints there. Overall, great value for the stay. Breakfast was also good and convenient location.

The standard rooms aren't as clean, particularly, most bathrooms had mold. The property is beautiful with beautiful surroundings but they could do better with the details - cleaning of pool floors and getting rid of mold in the bathrooms etc.

Everything. It’s such a beautiful peaceful place- from one side it’s far from the main roads and the city’s noise, from another side it’s close to all best restaurants, yoga studios and cafes (4-6 mins driving by bike). The stuff of the hotel made my stay unforgettable. Thank you all for these memories ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Oasis of peace

This accommodation was very peaceful. There were two nice pools, great staff, a delicious breakfast, and a very good menu for lunch, dinner and snack. We really appreciated the water dispenser and the laundry services! The A/C worked well, and the Wi-Fi did too. We would definitely stay there again! :)

It’s not right in the center of Ubud, but you can easily get everywhere by scooter. And if you don’t want to drive, you can always book a Grab or GoJek and get anywhere very quickly. Due to the humidity, there was a slight smell in the bathroom. I probably wouldn’t use the bathtub, but the toilet and shower were fine.

A very peaceful spot close to Ubud so walking there was easy, but also gave you an escape from busy.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Even the little cat that greets guests on arrival was a welcoming touch. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, and the views from the restaurant were peaceful. It was great that the Reception team gave a pamphlet about things to do in Ubud on arrival. I choose the Cooking Class and really enjoyed it. I loved the pool and also the private balcony outside my room for relaxing.

I couldn't get the TV to work. Also the room and bathroom were starting to show some wear. Not too bad just a bit of painting and redoing the grout in the bathroom would refresh the room.

Best stay in Ubud

The area is so quiet, serene, yet still near to a lot of nice restaurants and cafes. The room and bathroom are so spacious for such affordable rate we pay. They provide two pools and they are clean. One is located just in front of the room, so it is very convenient for me

"Peaceful Stay with a Minor Tropical Surprise"

Everything was fine .check in went well all the staff were great and helpful. Two pools both were great .

I had a pleasant stay at Budhi Ayu Villas Ubud — the overall experience was positive, with a comfortable room and a peaceful environment. However, one minor concern was waking up in the middle of the night and finding a small lizard crawling on the bathroom floor. I understand that reptiles are common in Bali’s tropical climate, but I believe the management could consider additional measures to better seal rooms and minimize such encounters. That said, this didn’t take away from the overall charm of the property, and I would still recommend it to those looking for a relaxing stay in Ubud

Ok place. They can improve it to good place.

I chose option of upper floor, but we got ground floor. Ground floor rooms seems to does not have any privacy. Pool looks good, did not used by us. Breakfast: They really need to upgrade the breakfast menus. There is no single Indian dish in the breakfast. I saw, almost 50% people staying are Indians. Hotel might add a 1 or 2 Indian menus in breakfast or Lunch/dinner. Room was good but few essential things were missing, Tooth brush/paste, Iron etc. AC was good but too small for the room size. Overall these things are OK.. but there is room for the improvement in all these.

We will be more happy if we got any Indian breakfast.

Amazing villa in ubud, far from the madding crowd.

The villa looks amazing and exactly like the photos. Private pool and we'll maintained lawn makes it a perfect getaway. The road leading to the villa is also filled with flower plants which again adds to the aesthetic nature. Very calm area. We had day trips so we had to leave at 6:00 am almost everyday, they kept breakfast boxes for us. Staff is very helpful. The spa was amazing. The location is walking distance to money changers and grocery store. Grab delivery for food and taxi is very convenient. Overall had a great stay. Staff will clean the room and lobby everyday, even mow the lawn alternative day.

Limited utensils. Even after asking for plates we were not given sufficient plates. For 5 people staying in the villa were provided with only 3 big plates, we were told they need plates for their restaurant. We had to take dinner in turns. If you don't wish to cook and eat in then this should not be a problem for you. Lighting could be improved in the lawn and swimming pool. Only one light fitted in the pool and no lights in the lawn.

lots of gecko's in rooms, 2brm villas having separation so impossible to put children. No way to contact hotel staff from your room. gaps in doors where mosquitos got through, mosquito nets dusty. 2brm rooms a long way away from reception and normal rooms. staff friendliness very average to non existing. Hotel not in walking distance to any where. Lots of mosquitoes.

Bali treats

Loved my cabin at the end of a pathway so very private and view of pool. Location was so peaceful too with great access to an abundance of wonderful eating places, one l found overlooking rice fields, stunning. You can walk into centre of Bali (way too busy for me now though) alongside Monkey Forest which was a great experience. I'd definitely stay at Budhi Ayu and this area on my next visit to Bali. Staff were amazing too, helped with my onward journey to Amed, so happy and friendly!

Perfect hotel with many great outdoor pools

The room was perfect! Very spacious and comfortable, I was assigned to a room on the 2nd floor with a little private swimming pool right downstairs, it was very nice to sit there with a drink overlooking the pool and trees! Highly recommend!

Nothing at all, totally exceeded my expectation with the price range! The location is a little bit off the main touristic area, but it wasn't a problem for me, as I prefer to be outside rather than staying in the middle of traffic.

The place is beautiful, 3 swimming pools, bar/restaurant/spa/yoga studio/Gym. The “deluxe room” looks more like a villa than a simple room, extremely large with kitchen, terrace, living room, air conditioning and a swimming pool. Super clean and incredible staff, all very friendly. On the corner of the hotel there is a motorcycle rental (cash only) and a few minutes away you are in the center with many shops, restaurants, bar, etc.

Very friendly staff. Good location, not too far away from the main centre. Rooms and beds were very big. Pool was fantastic. Great to have a mini fridge to keep drinks cool.
