Rooms and facility were very clean. They provided clean towels and 2 free water bottles each day. Water was also available near the entrance to fill up your containers. Roof top had a great view. Staff was very friendly. Room did not have a.c. but room was always cool or cold.
Wish they had ice machine for filling up water containers. Room had a smell like she sheets were not washed but it went away quick or we got used to it, not sure. I think they just use detergent that has no fragrance.

Perfect location - close to everything but not too busy. Beautiful view from the restaurant
Our suite was close to the restaurant so there were lights and music until late each night, but it was the holidays and I didn't really have high expectations. Not enough towels - but I like to have extra for my hair or if I want to shower before dinner etc. It would be nice to have bigger floor mats for the bathroom. .

Location location location. Excellent location. Pleasant courtyard.
Restaurant food not good. Nowhere comfortable to sit anywhere. I am 73 and I had to leave 3 nights early due to a medical issue. I couldn't breathe. Every room in Oaxaca city was sold out and I'm sure they sold the room. They refused my request for 3 nights back. They actually sent us to the bus station over an hour early so they could clean the room and turn it over. I've never said this before however Not Recommended.

The receptionist were so lovely and very helpful. The stuff very friendly, kind and warm, the dog was the cutest and I felt safe there, and the location was really good..
The room was dark, if I open the curtain people were there mostly, the rooms smelled very humid, ow specially inside the wardrobe!! the water was nice in the shower but the shower head was making it very difficult to enjoy the shower. After the shower it was all water around the toilet, I had to put the towel there after the shower to be able to go to toilet in the middle of the night and they took my towel.. The window frames were about to break.. there was a club just in the opposite street, the walls were shaking literally I could feel the bass in my bed which made it difficult to sleep.

It’s a good place, good location, my room was very spacious, the guy that attended in the check in was helpful; they have a rooftop that is very nice
The guy of check out was not friendly at all

The room was lovely and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom functioned well; hot showers and a magnifying mirror by the sink. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.
The restaurant needs more options for a vegan like me. Especially breakfast. Options like rice and beans, waffles, avocado toast with fresh sourdough bread would be a good idea.

No service
I booked the hotel for my two grandmas 70 & 82 years old - No hot water - even after let the tap running for 33min ( which is something totally indecent to do but after a 10hrs bus trip in a freezing bus you do need a shower to warm you ) - same thing the next morning no hot water . No help from the team. Also breakfast 40min wait to get their breakfast no prep been done in advance and they were the only guests in the breakfast area … decided to spend more and move them to a far better hotel Los Amantes where they had the service they deserved.

location
I rented this hotel for the roof deck… which was closed. There was NO coffee available here. Also, the bedside lights had weird shades that fell off, and provided terrible light. (only bright ceiling lights here )
The reception desk was not friendly. (one young man was helpful when I left- and a maid -who gave me an extra bottle of water)
The big open center courtyard could be a nice place… if they cared… some lights out there, and a coffee stand and make it a place to meet-up. (since my room had one window looking into a closed small courtyard with no natural sunlight) - Instead- this hotel had no personality, no ambience at all- no English spoken, not helpful. the bed & bath was fine.

Great hotel with very nice and helpful staff. The room was just as shown online. The bed was comfortable, shower had hot water, and the room temperature was perfect. (I would request the room with air conditioning.) The room was super clean and the hotel was in walking distance to several cafes and restaurants and street venders.
The toilet would occasionally stop up but I think that was due to the pluming issues in Mexico. That had nothing to do with the upkeep of the hotel.

the property is just a few minutes away from Zocolo.
perfect to access the shops, restaurants, markets, etc.
property is quiet and clean.
my room did not have windows, so that was unfortunate.
The front staff is friendly, but do not speak any English. it
was challenging for me because I do not speak Spanish.

The halls were too dark at night, especially when you are leaving at 4:30 am. I think it was a safety issue because you couldn’t see were the steps were

great location and inside court, the hotel is perfect for a sightseeing trip to Oaxaca.
Our room had pretty much no light and the wifi of the hotel (which works perfectly fine) didn’t reach our room which honestly makes it pointless. a little bit disappointing…

The view from the terraza is pretty. The common areas are nice. We liked the girl at the front desk. She was very polite and welcoming.
The room seemed to be clean, but the armoire and the blankets inside smelled awful.
Cheap. Everything is cheap. The lighting is atrocious. The “spa tub” is nothing like the photos.
Unless you’re going to do business at the Registro Civil or need a place to end your date at Popular or Zangunga, and are too drunk to care about where you’re going to wake up…..
Avoid.
My wife and I live in Oaxaca de Juarez. We try local hotels often to “staycation”. This time we thought we’d try this place because it advertised a spa tub in the “Master Suite”.
Don’t believe it. I shouldn’t have.
By 2am we were ready to leave this dump. The only reason we decided to spend the remainder of the night was the risk of being mugged while walking to our car, which we had to park 4 blocks away

Beautiful architecture and excellent location.

The location was terrific, in the Centro and close to everything but fairly quiet at night. It was easy for us to walk to nearby markets, restaurants and attractions (Santo Domingo, Zocalo, etc). The hotel is older but clean and beautiful, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The rooftop terrace is beautiful any time of day.
It's an old hotel, so the wifi wasn't great in our room (at the back), but it didn't really bother us because we didn't want to spend much time on our phones. Bring earplugs because you can hear church bells, dogs barking, music, etc at night.
