I have already recommended this location for those who wish to stay in Corniglia. The breakfasts were wonderful. The service was wonderful. The location to train & shuttle couldn't have been better!

Would have liked a dresser to sit at in room and bathroom clothing/ hooks.

Feel like family

The property us close to the train station which is very convenient. There is a shuttle at the train station that brings you into the town square. They serve a lovely breakfast as well. Roberto is a very charming host!

It is not a luxurious place, but it was perfect for what we needed. I would stay there again.

Super enjoyable stay with nice view

It's very close to the train station, walking distance. Nice breakfast with fantastic view, and the staff very warm and attentive with any request. They even prepare water in the fridge and the room was big. The owner allowed me to stay in the communal area after checkout.

Not the property advertised

Breakfast. The breakfast was very good. Small range of foods but totally adequate. Enjoyed my scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. The lady who served and cooked breakfast was lovely.

The misrepresentation in the Booking.com advert. Five small rooms with bathroom on ground floor of house. Limited sound rating. Toiletries were sachets of shower gel that couldn’t be opened with wet hands. Our view was a rock wall not the seaviews, they were at the fence. No minibar just a mini frig with two bottles of water front yard had unmowed lawns so was untidy. And no mention of the 50 steps from gate to front door. Not the property advertised.

A gorgeous location that is beautifully landscaped with a view of the sea!

An unbelievably beautiful location, clean, comfortable with an incredibly helpful staff. We had a wonderful stay! Close to the train station but we did not hear the train at all from our room. Thank you Nehza for the delicious breakfasts and Lorenzo and Sara for all your guidance!

Disappointed, frustrated.

Location Great, the 2 ladies were friendly and Breakfast was very nice. Lorenzo was right on time for check in, and gave recommendations for dinner.

The glass door to the outside was not functioning well. Could not get it to close, the handle would move in a full 360 but the locks would not go in so the door remained open the whole time and flies kept coming into the room. After we left Lorenzo called and said we broke the door and charged 250.00- Euro’s. I told him it wasn’t working but he was short and was not interested in hearing my side of story, all he wanted is for me to pay. I don’t know why they did not check on an open door when cleaning our room, we were there 3 nights and they waited till we were gone to say we broke the door. The whole experience ruined the memory of our stay.

Great location and staff.

Easy walk from the train station with our luggage, though beware that it's an uphill walk to town (which was fine for us). The staff was very nice, even served us an early breakfast on the day we left to make an early train. The view of the sea for breakfast was great.

The air conditioner wasn't working so it was a little stuffy in the bedroom.

Excellent, sunny, comfortable, and convenient launch pad for Cinque Terre

A really good choice when exploring Cinque Terre. The property is a house on the hill near the train station, with tables outside and a view. Corniglia is the middle town of the five, and trains come frequently, so it's very easy to get to any of the other towns. You can even go back in the middle of the day for a rest. My room looked out on a garden, and you can read on chairs in the garden. The rooms are comfortable, but not fancy; the breakfast a normal Italian breakfast, with a really nice staff.

The restaurant recommended by the host was undistinguished. Charging in Italian hotel rooms could always be a little less challenging.

A pleasant stay in picturesque Corniglia.

I stayed for just one night in Corniglia. The Corte del Gallo offers a handy location close to Corniglia railway station, avoiding climbing the stairs with baggage or walking into Corniglia by the road. It has a nice terraced garden and a pleasant shaded outside breakfast area.

A beautiful place to stay if you want to spend time in the Cinque Terre.

The property is lovely with great views, very relaxing to stay there acting visiting other villages. Also, very close to Station which is useful. Roberto was super friendly and served up lovely breakfasts and gave helpful information regarding walks and places to visit.

We liked everything. The WiFi didn’t work but this was not a problem as we used mobile data we had.

Best way to explore Cinque Terre

This was the perfect place to stay for exploring Cinque Terre. Easy to get to with train. Easy to get on the walking trails. And Roberto and his fantastic team would ensure you started your adventures with a good breakfast.

WiFi was not super reliable but then we're too tired too look into it as we'd such a busy day on the trails.

Lovely welcoming hotel with a gorgeous view.

We were greeted warmly at Corte del Gallo, in fact Roberto was watching for us when we got off the train. He is an extremely kind and friendly host, and we immediately felt right at home. The accommodations are lovely, very clean and comfortable in every way. We walked up to the town of Corniglia (twice) which was a good workout, but as Roberto shared, there's a shuttle to the town if desired. He recommended a great restaurant for our dinner, and then he made us a delicious hot breakfast in the morning. We only spent one night there, but would have been perfectly happy with a full week.

Roberto and his wife were the perfect hosts. and cook a delicious breakfast to be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the sea. it’s convenient to the train and the town of Corniglia is thankfully quieter and more peaceful than the rest of heavily touristed CinqueTerre. Charming!

Relaxing place to stay in Cinque Terre, with great views!

The location was very convenient, as it is close to the train station to go to other areas, and the bus stop to go into the Corniglia center. The breakfast was delicious and we ate at the terrace overlooking the sea. Roberto was a great host, very friendly, and helped us learn the best ways to get around the area.

Unfortunately the WiFi was not working, so we had to pay with cash. We were not ready for this, so we had to go to an ATM which was a bit stressful. However, Roberto worked with us so this was easier to handle so everything worked out well.

Great location for us. Corniglia is a quiet town in the evenings. An easy 3 minute walk from the train station. Quiet. Comfortable accommodations. Large walk in closet area to store bags. Absolutely lovely breakfast area outside, enjoying the sea. The homemade breakfasts were substantial and delicious. Roberto, our host, was gregarious and very accommodating.

Roberto welcomed us very warmly and explained everything. We had a pleasure to eat fantastic breakfast served in garden with sea view. We got recommendation from Roberto about very good restaurant La Posada with absolutely best pasta with pesto, potatoes, bean and grana. Corte Del Gallo is beautiful place and for sure I will recommend anyone who ask! Roberto mamy thanks and take care of yourself.

The stay was excellent and to be repeated

We enjoyed a rich breakfast adapted to our choices and allergies in a well looked after mediterranean garden with olive and citrus trees, magnolia, and a rich variety of flowers, and a stunning sea view. The B&B is in a very quiet yet conveniently located place close to the Corniglia railway station. We appreciated that after spending the day in the crowds of 5 terre.

Wonderful stay, the host greeted us with a warm welcome

The host, Roberto, is a truly kind man! Courteous, respectful, helpful, and jovial and funny! We took him up on both his restaurant and bar recommendations and were not disappointed. The property is close to the train station and has a beautiful view overlooking the sea. Just a short walk up the hill to get into town. Breakfast was the best we had at any accommodation our whole trip. Omelet, bacon, croissant, fruit, yoghurt, cappuccino, and chocolate cake!
