Dreamy stay

We could not fault our stay at Blue Bay Residence. Everything was absolutely exceptional. The hospitality, the view, the cleanliness. Mirko thought of everything to make his guests feel right at home. He even has a private beach just below the residence! You might be thinking it is a bit far out from Hvar Old Town, in which I will tell you that it is the perfect distance if you want a peaceful, yet fun vibe for your holiday in Hvar. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Luxury, spotless accommodation with stunning view and beautiful beach just steps away! Great location, quiet yet close in (20 minute walk to town). Restaurant and grocery store, 5 minute walk. Parking right in front! Our host Mirko was exceptionally accommodating!

Perfect.

Everything about this gorgeous apartment exceeded our expectations. The hosts were so lovely and generous with their time. Mirko fetched us from the bus station, showed us around and dropped us there on our last night. They provided a free washing service from their incredible cleaning lady Mary. Everything was gleaming and the apartment was extremely well equipped. The views are spectacular. Honestly everything was AMAZING! Mirko also looks after President's beach which is just below the apartment. It was completely idyllic.

The best place that I’d ever been!

Mirko adm zrinka are the best host that I’d ever meet. Pick up adm drop by at the port. Flat is amazing. View its outstanding. Brilliant. The beach close by , president beach , it’s a unique spot that we’d enjoyed 100 pct. They offered us summers for a better stay at the beach. I strongly recommend this accommodation at hvar as a top top one.

Would definitely return, lovely place and good location

The view over bay was amazing and you could walk down to beach in about 4 mins. Mirko, the owner picked us up from port and dropped us back. We also had use of the sun loungers for free. Top class service.

Perfect place to stay in Hvar

Fantastic location in a quiet part of Hvar but within walking distance to Hvar old town. We stayed in the penthouse apartment which is beautifully decorated and has a very large balcony with stunning sea views, perfect for watching the sunset! Mirko is the perfect host, very attentive and helpful. He offered to pick us up from the port and drive us back. He also owns sun beds on the beautiful President Beach below the apartment and allowed us to use them for free which is was a very nice bonus! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay Residence and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful views from balcony to wake up to or watch the sunset. Kitchen has everything you need, they did our laundry for us & Mirko picked us up at old town to take us there & returned us to leave. Separate bedroom & 2 bathrooms are a huge plus too. Mirko gave us tons of advice as restaurants, markets & beach clubs

This place is a gem The apartment was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. The view is spectacular with incredible sunsets. Nothing is spared to make this a 5 star apartment. Mirko the host was friendly, helpful and welcoming. He went the extra mile…Pick up and drop off from Ferry port, always available to help out or give advice, and dropped off a bottle of wine! Our laundry was done as part of the service. The apartment is a pleasant 20 minute walk into town along the boardwalk. We loved the position because it was peaceful and quiet yet close enough to all the restaurants. We were sad to leave and highly recommend Blue Bay Thank you Mirko

Amazing view and lovely accommodation which is within 15mins walk to town.

The apartment unit is so lovely with an amazing view. You can park your car in front of the property for free. The walk to town is so easy which takes about 15mins. The unit is fully furnished and extremely clean. We have an enjoyable stay and will definitely rebook it if we visit Hvar again.

Would stay again for sure and would highly recommend

The property was perfect, clean, well decorated and equipped with everything you would need. Just far enough from the main square to be peaceful but close enough to enjoyable and easily walk a couple times a day. Mirco was a great host, picked us up from the ferry, helped with our laundry and gave great recommendations for restaurants and car rentals.

First class property in top location.

The property was very well fitted out. Location was excellent and Mirko assisted us with transfers, laundry and any other issues we had. Local supermarket a few minutes away and easy walk into town. Superb views from the balcony / windows.

Beautiful unit with the best view in Hvar

spotless clean and the best view in Hvar! when we stepped into the unit we were blown away by the view and the size of the unit. it has 2 bathroom, huge living room , comfortable bed and pillow , hot and strong shower . it’s only a few minutes walk to the beach, where we had a swim all to ourselves (beach towels provided for). the kitchen has everything we need to prep a simple meal , the bathroom has complete amenities , numerous TV channels. Mirko was kind enough to recommend us a restaurant nearby(Grande Luna) with the best waiter (Matko) and best meal we had in Croatia. around 15 -20 minutes leisure walk to town by the coast , very beautiful way to explore Hvar. we cannot wait to return and stay at Blue Bay Residence when we visit Hvar again. thank you Mirko for your hospitality!

A special apartment

Stylish and comfortable apartment. Fabulous views from inside and out on the spacious balcony. Everything you could think of has been added to the accommodation. We loved relaxing in the sun, reading and listening to music after exploring parts of this beautiful island. A shop is nearby which really increases the ease of your stay. Mirko the host will help you with any of your needs - he really is very helpful. As said in previous reviews it's a pleasant walk from town- helps to burn off the calories of all of the lovely local food🙂

We had the most exceptional stay ever

we loved the property. it was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, love the view, the location was perfect, private and very quiet area. our host Mirko was exceptional. He is the best host we have ever had. He even picked up us when we arrived and he drop off back to the port when we checked out. He really pays attention to details. He went above and beyond and even booked a reservation to a very nice restaurant. we had the most amazing time in Hvar and specially at the Blue Bay Residence. we will definitely come back.

Unforgettable, miss it everyday

We arrived really late into the night and the host was in touch with us the whole time. At arrival he met us at the apartment to let us in and showed us the apartment. The apartment is a 10-15 minute walk from the city center of hvar but don’t let that discourage you from staying at this property because the walk along the beach to the city center is absolutely beautiful. The apartment was a 1 bedroom 2 bath very spacious, we enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean every morning. Within a short walking distance from the apartment there is a very good restaurant (the onion jam pizza was to die for) and a store very convenient for late dinner.

Wow……Just Wow!!

The Owner Mirko was amazing, he ensured that we didn’t want for anything. The apartment was faultless, immaculately clean and had everything…. and I mean everything you need for a great stay. The view is to die for and is something I will miss waking up to and watching the sunset in the evening from the balcony. The beach is just down a flight of stairs from the road. The walk into Hvar town is a lovely route along the coast, which takes about a 20 minute brisk walk. There is a supermarket literally round the corner with everything you need to cook a meal if you come out of season. I cannot recommend this property enough and we will certainly be back to visit.

Vista espetacular

Gostamos de absolutamente tudo. O apartamento é muito, muito limpo. Tudo novo, de bom gosto e de qualidade. Há travesseiros extras, toalhas para usarmos na praia… Cozinha muito bem equipada com ótimas taças de vinhos e espumantes. Há um mercado próximo. O anfitrião é gentil, deu dicas preciosas que nos economizou 2 horas de viagem para Dubrovinik. E tem a vista absurdamente espetacular!

Gostei de tudo e voltaria todos os anos, se fosse possível, mas é bom saber que, no caso do apartamento em que ficamos, há um lance de escadas, embora o anfitrião tenha sido gentil de levar nossa bagagem até lá. Também não tem máquina de lavar roupas, mas podemos deixá-las num cesto do lado de fora da porta do apartamento e poucas horas depois as roupas nos são devolvidas limpas .

Wir hatten das "normale" Appartement im Dachgeschoß. Ein wunderschöner Ausblick in einer sehr sauberen hellen und neuwertigen angenehm großen Wohnung. Der eigene PKW Stellplatz direkt am Haus und zwei dauerhaft reservierte Liegen am Strand direkt unterhalb des Hauses waren Gold wert. Bis auf ein paar Stufen erreicht man in gut 20 Minuten die Altstadt von Hvar fast ebenerdig auf der Promenade direkt am Meer. Für uns ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt.

Der Windsensor an der Markise reagiert leider schon bei dem geringsten Windhauch und fährt automatisch ein, so dass wir die Beschattung auf der Terrasse so gut wie nie nutzen konnten. Das war es aber auch schon :)
