Hotel Aleksandar Rafailovići

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, but what really stood out was how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff were. Their kindness, understanding, and willingness to help meant a lot to us. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel. The facilities were great, but it was the genuinely caring and welcoming staff that made our stay truly memorable.

great location next to the beach, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and the restaurant is good for launch/dinner as well as for breakfast buffet.

There was a problem with our reservation and for me the personnel did not handle it well and in a proffessional way. They were overbooked and at the time we arrived at the hotel our room was not available and they did not notify us beforehand. We got a downgrade for the first night with a meal from their restaurant as a compensation. There is no parking. Plus there is no cups for tea or coffee and no kettle.

The hotel is located on a prime location, on the long sandy beach with a very long pedestrian area and lot of restaurants and cafeteria. Rafailovići Beach is a scenic, popular coastal stretch of sand and pebbles located in a small fishing village along the Budva Riviera in Montenegro. Literally you get out of the hotel and you are at the beach where you can rent a sun loungers and umbrellas and stay 10 meters away from the sea. A set of two sun longers and an umbrella was 20/25/30 Euro, depending of how close you want to be to the sea. Anyhow you are steps away from the sea. The hotel has a restaurant that works all day and has nice choice of various food and wines for any taste while there is also a playground for the kids. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and modern with new furniture and all you need to have nice stay. The personnel is very easy going and ready to answer all your request. All in all, world-class service and lovely hotel. View from our rooms and out two terraces was amazing. The public garage is available just 150-200 meters away and you can take a ticket for as long as you stay, that way you get reserved space in the often packed public garage. Price: 8 Euro/day, very affordable. Unless you want to visit placed further away from Budva, you don't need a car while staying at Rafailovići as taxi to Budva is around 10 Euro which is also very affordable for a family. GREAT hotel worth of returning back!

Well, nothing to say bad, absolutely! If we need to give some recommendations. Maybe even wider choice of breakfast will make the stay even more gorgeous, especially if you stay more than 4-5 days. Anyhow, even with the offered breakfast choice, this is a just an excellent hotel.

The hotel is close to the beach, however, you need to pay for sunbeds (15€ for 2), and occupy them early in the morning, otherwise, none would be left. The room was clean, but sheets were not changed even once during the whole stay. The personnel was nice and friendly. The room had a nice view.

The wellness centre did not work at all and no one from the hotel informed me of this in advance. It was a shame, as I booked the hotel specifically for their wellness centre. I was a half-board guest, however, found food on half the days not as tasty and a bit salty. Breakfast would have been enough, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. In general, the stay was ok, but should have cost less for what was offered.
