The Bluebell Guest house is a well presented and well maintained accommodation. It is apparent that the proprietors put their heart and soul into their business and guests comfort is a paramount concern. We booked a last minute stay for my birthday, we live far from family and only get one chance to be child free grown ups each year, this was a spontaneous booking and we were not disappointed in anyway, the hosts even left a birthday card in the room. We chose the superior room that is situated at the top of the house and has a large room with a view of the sea and over the town. All the bathroom facilities were spotless and everything worked as it should, which is often not the case in B&B's in my experience. The decor is well maintained and no sign of any wall paper peeling, carpets in good order and furnishings solid and not a mix of odd items. Well thought out room, good quality bed and bedding that was comfortable and gave us a good nights rest. The only two issues I had were easily remedied, the mini fridge on the dresser in the room, had a slight hum in operation that was an irritation in the night, unplugged it and plugged straight back in the morning, no problems. And the other issue was a small bedside clock that had an irregular tick, popped in a draw, problem solved. There was anything that would prevent me from booking this room again in the future or recommending it to others. We were the only people booked in so could not comment on noise from other guests but there were good solid doors on all rooms and the house is a solid built home so I would think the rooms are well soundproofed. The breakfast was plentiful and well made up with well, cooked good quality ingredients, we were taken care of by Peter who was happy to engage in conversation and was an excellent host. Would recommend in a heart beat and if we need somewhere to stay in Bridlington in the future will hopefully be able to book the Bluebell Guest house again. Thank you Peter.

Nothing negative to say, everything was superb.

I liked being recognized from staying before & I felt really welcome again straight away, when I was first greeted on my arrival. The room I stayed in, I had stayed in before it was cozy & very well presented & cleaned to a high standard. The bed is very comfy too- I slept like a log all night.
