Breakfast was attractively presented and ample in quantity. The swimming pool was a great feature for the hot weather and the provision of pool towels was very welcome. The in-room Nespresso coffee maker was a nice feature. A fridge available for guests to use was very he lpful. The location within a few minute's walk of the centre of Vernou was very convenient.
The traffic noise in the afternoon was a slight annoyance when sitting by the pool, but there was no traffic disturbance at night.

Le Moulin des Landes is set in a small village close to the Loire and Amboise. It's a perfect place to stay and discover the local area of Vouvray and the wine! The accommodation is very clean and Gwen is a great host and has thought of everything to make it a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The garden is delightful with a lovely old barn area to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of breads/croissants/fruit and cakes more than enough to set you up for the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is a small but excellent restaurant, Chenin, in the village for evening dinner which was an easy 3 minute walk away.
