Takht House

- Historic house in an authentic Dilijan style with a beautiful interior and lots of paintings on the walls. - Three bathrooms - a huge plus for a comfortable stay. - Well-equipped kitchen: two large refrigerators, plenty of dishware, and spacious pots. - BBQ grill and cauldron (kazan) - perfect for making shashlik, plov, and roasting marshmallows. - Great outdoor area for kids (a playground and a small pond with tadpoles). - Private garden with apple and pear trees. - Welcoming concierge, lovely complimentary treats (fresh fruit and gata), and quick resolution of any issues. Hidden amenities: The house has a tumble dryer, a ping-pong table, a kids' toy car, and a home theater, but finding them or figuring out the settings without guidance is tricky. A brief house manual for guests is definitely needed.

- We experienced a couple of power outages. - No soup bowls (despite the abundance of other dishware, this was a bit inconvenient). - The vintage-style shower didn't work well and needs maintenance - we ended up using only the second shower. The house is located on a hill in the Takht neighborhood. Shops are within walking distance, but carrying heavy groceries back up the hill can be a bit tough.

Although it couled be locked from the inside, it required coordination with the adjacent room Secondly, there was no air conditioning or AC so in the summer the heat could be quite bothersome The mosquito nets needed some repair
