Exceptional

Wonderful quiet location with spectacular views. Spacious, warm and comfy room with dining table which was so useful. Many thoughtful touches. A very welcoming and genial host. Breakfast of croissant, bread, homemade jam, yoghurt and juice was lovely. Coffee and tea making facilities were provided in the room with generous amounts of coffee. Lovely walks alongside the coast and great views of the stars. So peaceful on the edge of the world.

For us, nothing... though I did have problems trying to get the provided binoculars to focus on the wildlife. Personally I prefer a thin pillow.

Unsurpassable view from a lovely room.

Stunning location and view from the room. Great welcome from some of the 5 cats, and from Eric and Cathy. Delightful room, spacious and light, thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed. Tea and coffee making in the room, delicious breakfast delivered (silently) to our door in the early morning, so we could sit at our own table and admire the view. Shower room a bit small, but well equipped. Excellent value. There's a very good crêperie just along the road, so it's pretty near perfect.

Excellent location - ideal for beach lovers and walkers

Very adequate breakfast, delivered on a tray, and left outside the door. Wonderful view of the estuary from the bedroom windows, and a pair of binoculars provided to enjoy the view! An excellent sea food restaurant within a very short drive.

Only a creperie within walking distance for an evening meal.

Accueil et cadre très agréable

Le petit déjeuner était un peu cher, pour ce que c’était, à savoir 9 euros. Avec du pain moyen, yaourts et confiture le supermarché. Idem pour les fruits. Dans ce cadre, on aurait espéré des produits plus artisanaux et locaux.

Prestations de très moyenne gamme qui ne justifie pas le prix demandé.

L'emplacement face à la mer

Pour le prix, le service était minimaliste. Nous justifions cette appréciation en comparant les prestations offertes habituellement à ce prix. La vue sur mer ne justifie pas tout. Le petit-déjeuner était payant (de préférence en liquide !) en supplément du prix de la location. Le propriétaire justifie cette pratique pour lui permettre de compenser le coût de l'adhésion à Booking jugé excessif. Le petit déjeuner était composé de café à faire nous-même avec une machine bas de gamme et peu pratique, d'un croissant et d'un pain au chocolat pour deux et sans saveur. Quelques rondelles de baguette et un petit verre de jus d'orange provenant de la grande distribution ainsi que du lait, un yaourt et un peu de confiture industrielle. Aucun fruit ou crudités pour équilibrer ce petit déjeuner ! A noter que nous n'avons pas été interrogé sur le point de savoir si nous n'aurions préféré du thé ou du choloat. La décoration est bas de gamme et n'apporte aucune chaleur à l'ensemble. Pas de verres à disposition pour pouvoir se désaltérer au cours de la nuit par exemple. Il a été possible cependant de boire dans les bols réservés au petit-déjeuner du lendemain. La salle de bains peu avenante nous a donné l'impression d'être le résultat d'un bricolage d'amateur Aucun produit de toilette n'a été proposé.
