Penzion Pri Parku

Close to Hotel Elzabeth and to the City Center.

No Windows in toilet. No elevator but it is a small hotel.

Cozy Penzion with friendly staff, clean, fridge and tea pot included. Next to nice park and walk-in distance to downtown.

Mosquitos finding way thru open window.

At last, a characterful room not just a square plain box with grey and white walls. No key codes here.... just a nice chunky old-fashioned key! The building is old but beautiful and whilst traditional it has loads of character which is missing in so many modern rentals today. It has great air-conditioning on a super powerful little fridge. It is very close to the centre of town and one minute walk from the train station.

You got exactly what you see in the pictures plus a happy friendly female Receptionist who despite not speaking English made every effort with smiles, hand gestures and a smattering of Italian. It’s not luxurious but it’s real and has a charm so lacking in many rentals today.

There was nothing to dislike. The receptionist was very friendly and incredibly helpful, I felt comfortable from the moment of arrival. She gave us helpful tips on what to see and where to go, it was greatly appreciated. The bed was superb, our room had a TV and complementary teas, coffee, water and hygiene products, a good amount of them as well. Everything was pristinely clean. The location was a short, pleasant walk away from the town's centre, along a verdant park. The location was also close to the main railway station, but it was not noisy at all, on the contrary, it felt like a retreat.
