The staff were very accomodating. The reception is 24/7. The place and the beds are clean. Wifi is great. Price is worth it.

Good hostel for budget but the stairs are a nightmare if you have heavy luggage or are heavy yourself. . Personally, I would give 1 star for my stay as the staff mixed up my bed for one already taken and I had asked one on the ground bed but had to spend night on top bunk because of mixup but also I made a mistake to book in wrong room so may be that neutralises it.

Money matter - Before I book a room, there was no notice or warning that they do have an age limit policy. I was charged of an additional payment when I checked in. They have this age policy when you booked a shared room. If you're 41 up, you're not allowed to have your booking push through. It's either you cancel the booking and say good bye to your money or have an additional paymet to have a private room.
Facilities - Nice reception but your waya up to the rooms was quite a bit challeging. No elevator! You have to climbed up a steep, narrowed foot step stairs. My room was at the 4th floor. The "private room" was small with a lavatory. Here's the catch, you have to use a shared toilet and shower room outside. It's not inside the room.
Transportation - There's a nearby tram station but it will not take you to touris's spots in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The nearest tram or train station going to such places can be reached through a 15-20 mins walk from the hostel.
