The hotel is good but it looks better in the description.

The hotel is between the baths and the village. It is ok if you do not have a car and have to walk to the baths, probably 30 minutes to the pools. The staff is friendly, some of them speak english. The room is big but they are all different so you can ask to choose. The breakfast was ok, standard, with fruits and coffee of choice. (Yes they have the famous local cherries ) Nice little balcony with big trees in front. Nice little bathroom.

It looks better in the description, so we were a little disapointed. The room is very dark, so that we had to keep the lights on even on a sunny day. This is good for keeping the room cool. In the listing they show a swimming pool, but this is just a small hotel and they dont have a pool. It is located between 3 streets, so the "garden" view is in fact street view. Yes, there are maybe 10 meters to the streets and some nice big trees (shown on their pictures) . I will attach the view from the balcony. Mountain view is maybe through the branch of the trees, we didnt see it, it is just in winter probably. Then there is maybe more light also. We got soaps and shampoo but only for the first day.

A nice stay

The hotel is quite close to the spa center and its waterfalls, and one can walk there in 20 minutes from the hotel. It is also close to the village, which is filled with good restaurants and cafes. Very nice walks in both directions from the hotel. The pool belongs to the hotel Nymphes, but Nostos guests are welcome to use it. At the time of the virus it was virtually empty one afternoon we went there, and we really enjoyed it. Another plus is that you can have your breakfast on your balcony. The loud river can be heard from the room, which we liked very much, it put us to sleep.

There is nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, but there are little touches that could have been added to make it more comfortable and better. For one, the bed is on the softer side, which is very bad for our spine, but there was no way that we could have known this ahead of arriving. This is personal preference and particular need, but this one did not work for us. A more general lack is that the bathroom is very small and lacks things like pegs to hang the towels (only one above the sink, but we had 4 towel), no shelves nor any other place to put one's toiletries and creams, so we ended up leaving them on the kitchen counter and other furniture. There really is a better way to organize a bathroom. The toilet seat in room 206 seems unhappy to be where it is and is ready to fall off every time one uses it, so that definitely needs fixing. Finally, the kitchen was completely empty - I guess it has something to do with the covid-19 situation, although I am unable to understand what kitchen utensils have to do with it. You can get whatever you need if you ask, though.

Ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο με τζακούζι, με διακόσμηση που μάλλον έχει αρχίσει να δείχνει τα χρόνια της, μεγάλο κρεβάτι με άνετο στρώμα. Πρωινό τυπικό, θα περιμέναμε κάτι παραπάνω σε τοπικά προϊόντα. Άνετη πρόσβαση εκτός και αν έχει κάποιος κινητικά προβλήματα καθότι δεν υπάρχει ασανσέρ. Γενικά μείναμε ευχαριστημένοι, ειδικά από την εξυπηρέτηση του προσωπικού.

Μια ανανέωση στη διακόσμηση του δωματίου + ένα μπουκάλι νερό για welcome θα ήταν ωφέλιμο.
