I have stayed at this hotel before, and I think it offers excellent value considering its location and friendly staff. I have seen some reviews saying that the property is dated and that the bathrooms are small, but I think those comments reflect the wrong expectations. This is not a five-star luxury hotel, nor is it priced like one. It is an old-school, no-frills hotel close to the beach and the train station, with Portuguese staff who are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I would happily return anytime.

Good stay, easy walk to a nice restaurant Pintos delicious food and great staff The room was clean and comfortable for a pass through visit

Great location, lovely atmosphere, truly cozy and welcoming. Yet do not expect new facilities. But, changing towels every day and also making the bed too. Super kind and helpful staff too.
Not the cleaniest place - dirty floor and bathroom could have been better too. Overall it shows signs of dated accomodation.
