The atmosphere at this hotel is very family-friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised. You can truly relax and unwind. The hot spring on the balcony was exclusively for our use – an amazing experience, especially in the mornings... We were looked after by an incredibly warm person, who made this stay unforgettable, as was Mrs. Tomoko. We had two meals served in our room by Mrs. Tomoko, and we felt both at home and in a three-Michelin-star restaurant. The food was simply amazing. The presentation and flavors were a great experience. We will definitely choose the same hotel with an onsen if we visit Japan again. Janka

We liked the very spacious n comfortable room with our own private open air bath. Miyoko was such a gem using a translator to talk to us n helping me choose a really pretty yukata n then took time helping me put it on n tying a very pretty bow at the back . Both dinner n breakfast was excellent

A good sized room, clean facilities, nice area if you’re looking for a rural Japanese experience

Very ‘full-on’ experience, you need to be completely ready to let go and have someone in your personal space at all times. If you try to deviate from the plan there is plenty of resistance. Be ready to eat what you’re told at the time you’re told, in your bedroom - there is no restaurant. If you’re looking to be mothered and lose free will during your stay, it will be great. Going in summer may not be the best - no need for a hot spring when it’s 27 degrees at midnight.
