Country hospitality near the city

Quite a unique place, on a hill above the city in a forest-park. Nice terrace and views, and good Gasthaus hospitality and food.

Better if you drive a 4W car to reach it expecially in fall with leaves on the ground and I guess in winter with snow

We stayed only one night but we have appreciated the quality og the restaurant of the hotel, that is placed in a wonderful place, on the hill above the city center of Klagenfurt. The room was comfortable, the place very quiet.

The scenery was beautiful. The hotel was clean and warm. Room was a good size. Bathroom was spotless. Staff always there to help.

Unfortunately, not enough staff to have the bar open. The restaurant closed at 3 on Sunday. The hotel was on top of a very steep hill. It cost €10 in taxi from closest taxi rank to the hotel entrance. (Less than one kilometer)

Perfect match of performance-cost ratio, but just for short stay. Good location for vacation.

Amazing place of stay. Beautiful view for the whole city. Very good beeds, good shower, hairdryer and wifi. Booking made mistake to reserve for us a breakfest, but was no problem to organize it directly with a stuff of the hotel. We were able to stay in hotel even there was a day of without service (Ruhetag). Free parking at a hotel site.

Quite complicated enter to the hotel, we were lucky to have a 2 rooms, because one of the key for enter the hotel was not working. By the phone with an owner we solve the problem, so we were satisfied.

I booked the room and I've sent some requests and email to hotel but I got no answer. I called the hotel to ask why they didn't answer my emails. The chief easily answered that he is not assistant to answer the emails!!!! I was really shocked when I heard the answer. In the check in I've got a small and with not nice view (although I booked before months and emphasized in my request that I need the city view) but when I nagged about I got a room with balcony that was a little better than first one. All together I can say nice location (surrounding) and friendly check in.

They made just for us breakfast at 4 am on Sunday before IRONMAN race I was participating in. We did not ask, they simply proposed it, that was sometging extra. And the views of Klagenfurt from our room or from the terasse, where we ate delicious food prepared by talented chef, are beautiful.

Lovely forest get away in the city

Beautifully located. Even though the house is old, the room was nicely modernised and very clean. Very comfortable bed. Staff were extremely polite and friendly and ready to assist with queries and requests.

Je to ubytování ve městě, ale přitom v lesoparku s krásným výhledem na město. Parkování pro auta bez problémů. Opravdu dobrá snídaně.

No, popravdě se nám nelíbila takřka nulová komunikace s ubytováním, protože jsme se potřebovali ujistit, že budeme mít kam dát naše jízdní kola. Tato obava se nám potvrdila, ale protože jsme toto místo vybrali jako místo pro setkání rodiny, kdy jedna část cestuje na kolech a druhá část autem, kola jsme nakonec nějak umístili do něj. Tento penzion v loveckém duchu již něco pamatuje, dle našeho názoru by si zasloužil více péče. Abych ale nekončil negativně, snídaně byla opravdu fajn.
