Overall, really amazing!

Friendly and helpful staff, nice location for those who want to explore the east and north of the country, calm and relaxing setting with few people and a lot of nature around, a lot of activities available, nice breakfasts

The washrooms are not really convenient and the shower had mold on the floor. While I was informed upon booking that there would be no towel included but I could rent one at the reception, since there were not any toiletries available either, informing future guests about that would be helpful too.

Excellent hostel

Free breakfast was very nice, the location is close to the Mullerthal trail hike. Receptionist Alysson is very friendly and helpful! Bedrooms are very small, for 4 people, so it is more cozy and easier to meet people.

There is no separation between the bedroom area and the sink in the room. I was in a room with two more people and it the sound of the tap would wake me up. A door between the two areas would be great.

Good and confortable

Modern building and big spaces. The rooms look really nice and the location is very convenient. Also good views to a lake with a beautiful walkway around.

Breakfast is included on the price but I would have expected a bit more variety. The coffee is not great and there is no toaster. I don’t think is bad breakfast but a bit too basic, in my opinion.

My stay was a quaint and comfortable one overall, with only a few inconveniences.

The staff was friendly and there were a surprisingly good amount of different amenities. The hostel was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Some of the facilities were quite lacklustre. The food (while it was a nice and affordable inclusion) left a lot to be desired, the drinks were pricey and the showers turned off every few seconds, which made for a very uncomfortable experience.

Great for anyone from 5 to 85!

What an amazing place. For the price you pay it really is remarkable. We paid 10 euro extra pp per night for a room just for the two of us and it was worth it. Showers (which were hot!) and toilet in individual cubicles in the room. Lockers were large for storage. Each bed had a charging point and two cubby holes plus great lights for reading. There was also a sitting area on the first floor where we were staying with books, games, activities etc. So it was very family friendly. The lakeside setting was glorious, short walk into the main town and the bus depot where the transport is free and plentiful. There was also a supermarket within ten minutes walk where you could buy packed lunches. The breakfast was pretty standard but delicious and set us up for the day. The fact you could walk directly from the door was just wonderful.

Absolutely nothing. I couldn't fault it for the price.

Affordable. Good location. Convenient. Toilet in room with no hand soap. Breakfast very minimalistic and not many veg options (cereal, yogurt, fruits, bread) however cannot complain given included in price.

Nice location but very noisey rooms.

The beds were comfortable and breakfast was included. The area where the building is located is nice.

Doors opening and closing in the hallway were very easy to hear. And also loud noises and voices could still be heard in the “quiet hours”.

The good location: a 10 minute walk from the Gare Central in Echternach. Nice dinner in the evening. Clean rooms with toilet and shower. Very friendly staff. I had the room to myself for 3 nights.

The staff is amazing! Such kind and helpful people. It was extra nice because i had the room all for myself 😁 Its definetly worth what your paying.

Diner is kinda a little bit pricey, and so is the things you can buy there. At least breakfast is free.

Great place to stay to while walking the Mullerthal trail.

Nice location right next to the lake. You can start walking (part of) the Mullerthal trail from the hostel.

Nice! Worth the price!

Good location, friendly & really informative staffs, free parking, simple breakfast, nice view! If you plan to go on Mullerthal Trail, they provide great recommendation, info & map (€4) that you can rely on.

I understand that Youth Hostel is sustainability place, but the hallway and stairs leading to the rooms are very dark at night. Maybe a lamp with human energy can be the solution. The shower gave off a lot of water and was a little too much for a small bathroom. Besides, there was no mat in the room, so after taking a shower, the floor of the room gets a bit wet.

Perfect location and great included breakfast

Loved the location: it's on the lakeside, and you can reach nice places walking! Liked the room: I booked a female dorm room, and it was a 3 beds room! Wasn't expecting it, I really appreciated it. Loved the INCLUDED BREAKFAST, really good, with yogurt and muesli, cheese and ham, jam and chocolate spread, bread, milk, coffee, orange juice!!! The staff was really nice, and spoke perfect English. They let me storage my luggage half a day in the reception after I checked out, so grateful.

It would be nice to have access to the kitchen without the need to pay for the meal (lunch or dinner), just to use a kettle and a bowl, if you have your own things to eat...

Very friendly and helpfull staff. We ate dinner at the hostel and it was good. Lots of facilities. Easy to reach and beautifull surroundings.

There was some mould in the bathroom but apart from that it was clean and the shower was good.. No curtains in the rooms.

The staff were excellent and helpful Breakfast was sufficient. Rolls were yummy and fresh. I liked the way the beds had their individual lights and small storage cubbies - the ned set up made sure the lights were private and caused little bother to toher room mates I liked private facilities for the room.

I would have liked fresh fruit for breakfast The vegetarian option for dinner was starch heavy and vegetable light - a sad attempt at salad was made but in 2022 I expect a slightly more exciting vegie option

Stay here only if you don’t have another place to go, I know that it’s a hostel but basic cleaning expectations are not

location is nice and staff is friendly

It was really dirty in general. In my room there were skid-marks in the toilet when I entered the room for the first time, and no one else was staying at the room. Although we are in a pandemic, there was no soap in the room! Floors in the facility in general were covered in mud. Wifi was not working in the room, so I had to go to the common area. The breakfast was quite limited. The bed was not comfy at all.

We enjoyed the good beds, clean sanitary and good breakfast. It's a nice modern hostel on a beautiful location!

We woke up during the night because of the light in the hall of the room that turns on suddenly and quite strong. And there were quite a lot of flies at the breakfast, even in october.

10/10 Without Exaggeration

Couldn't ask for more - great place to stay if you are planning to explore the nearby area. I really enjoyed the place and the hikes! When it comes to breakfast, I would recommend bringing your own salad or tomato to make perfect sandwiches. As they have a very good bread and ham/cheese, yet no vegetables at all.
