Youth Hostel Echternach

Location is great if you’re looking to hike in the area. Easy to start the well-known Müllerthal Trail routes 1 & 2 from close-by and route 3 start is a bus ride away. Many other hikes start in the area as well. Lake is right next to the property if you fancy a swim. Clean hostel and staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is simple but does the job. Hostel has many extra facilities for those interested, such as a climbing hall, trampoline park, bike rentals, etc. Some of these are most likely for a small fee, but still.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like, but some new pillows in the room couldn’t hurt. The pillows were very flat which didn’t provide much comfort for sleep. And maybe some handsoap in the rooms for after restroom use.

I liked how clean the sheets and rooms were. My roommates were very nice ladies, but that was pure luck! I liked the location, as it was just beside Echternach Lake. The staff was friendly, and I rented a bike for 24 hours.

There was no soap in the rooms for the toilets. Breakfast was medium.

The area is fantastic, the accommodation really comfy and the staff are a plus! I would definitely come back

The beds were comfortable and breakfast was included. The area where the building is located is nice.

Doors opening and closing in the hallway were very easy to hear. And also loud noises and voices could still be heard in the “quiet hours”.
