A lovely old house in a beautiful area, ideal for walkers.

This is a lovely old house in a beautiful setting. We stayed to visit Spa Classic and unfortunately did not have time to explore the forest. The area is very peaceful with lots of birds. It is ideal for walkers. The room was large with nice views, the shower was excellent and the bed comfortable. The breakfast varied from day to day with local produce but fresh fruit salad every morning. The lady who owns the house speaks good English; it was a shame we don't speak better French. There is an Abbey in nearby Stavelot which was unfortunately closed, the town itself is very interesting and we found a good restaurant which was much cheaper than Spa. My partner and his friend enjoyed the local beer!

silent location with bird singing , good home made breakfast, plenty of tea choices.

they were vacuum cleaning the room next door while we ate breakfast. ancient house, doors not so well insulated. old lady was respectful and ok but sometimes a bit grumpy

Nice experience!

The tea selection at breakfast is good, as is breakfast with local products. We also stayed in the deluxe room-it is more spacious and more inviting. The bathroom (bath and shower) is big and very enjoyable. The DVD collection is an interesting plus. Good location with nature (woods) just in front. We'd specified I didn't eat gluten and the host had made a point of buying gluten-free bread for breakfast :)

The room was a bit smaller than expected. From the deluxe room you can hear other guests (and host) talking downstairs at breakfast. (Not good sound isolation). Deluxe room bed a bit small and uncomfortable. My partner would have enjoyed having more privacy during breakfast.

Very interesting stay in this local people’s house

Nice timbered house, beautiful look. surrounding by greens, very quiet. easy to park and easy to drive to nearby hiking trails. Tea collection in the room is the best I have had, very nice tea with different flavour. breakfast is enormous prepared by the landlady, very very interesting with many local products to try. I was super full after breakfast. landlady is friendly and talkative, told us some local stories.

one door of the clothes cabinet could not be closed easily.

bon B&B sur les hauteurs de SPA

très chouette petit déjeuner, copieux, partagé autour d'une grande table avec les autres clients et la propriétaire, qui a un sacré franc-parler. Chambre calme dans laquelle nous avons dormi comme des bébés.
