Khaolak Laguna Resort

Absolutely beautiful resort with large rooms and gardens. The pool area is situated directly next to the beach that is easily accessible. Really good breakfast and very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again!

Beautiful location and the rooms were spacious and clean.

The aircon was not fantastic and very noisy. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as a lot of steps to get to the restaurant

This is the second time that we have stayed there and both times we found the resort perfect. The location is very good, it’s a 5 - 10 min walk to the start of the town and there is a few restaurants opposite Laguna resort which are well worth a visit. The big night market is 10 mins drive in a taxi at 300 bht and worth a visit for the bargains. The beach is very nice which you can access straight from the resort and never had a problem getting a sun lounger.

Beautiful hotel with nice and well kept surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff and good service. Great breakfast with good selection of both international/western and Asian chioices. Nice pool area with plenty of sun loungers. Nice and spacious (Oriental) villa. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops and services.

Beach is good but not accesible during high tide, this really isn”t hotel’s fault though

- Spacious rooms - Great sea view from everywhere - Stunning grounds - Large pool - Decent food - LOVELY staff! Literally everyone was so sweet and helpful. We had a change in temp with our AC and after one phone calls there was someone at our door in less than 10 minutes. And the issue was resolved within the hour. We were so happy

- The staff could team up to do a beach clean up once a week - It would have been nice to have more room service + hotel restaurant options (but we came in low season so maybe that’s why)

We had a lovely stay. The best customer servicer were Thip at the spa! We took a spa treatment nearly every day. She elevated our experience :)

Overall, English is spoken rather badly at the resort. Sadly that hindered our experience especially at the reception as it took a long time to communicate. However everyone were very polite and kind.

This resort is in a lovely location with a beautiful beach, perfect for sunsets. The rooms are well appointed with nice bathrooms though dark and would benefit from more lighting.

The staff could have done more to make us feel we were actually on holiday and had chosen to stay at this resort. Almost every request we made was declined. At most beach resorts it's standard practice to have food and drinks served at the sun loungers, though not here. When we requested food or drinks at the sun loungers on the grassy headland beside our room and overlooking the beach, we were declined. It's also standard practice to have laundry collected and delivered to your room. Not here. A notice in the room informed us to call reception for laundry collection, which we did. Reception told us to bring it to them, which we found strange but did anyway. When we returned late that evening we needed the clean laundry but it wasn't in our room. We rang reception, who told us to go over and collect it from them. We objected to this and eventually the laundry was delivered, though we were forced to pay cash to the delivery person, which meant we were scrambling around in the dark room late at night looking for the right money. It really did nothing to create the feeling that we were on holiday. We also had an unfortunate check out experience, where we had requested our luggage be brought to reception (there are a lot of steps up to reception) in time for our car arriving, though this wasn't arranged accordingly. All in all quite disappointing service.

The staff was very helpful keeping our luggage while on a live-aboard dive trip before our check-in, and keeping our documents in a safe.

Very little not to like

This resort is directly on the most amazing beach I have ever seen. The resort has free boogie boards and stand-up paddleboards to borrow for enjoying this incredible natural setting. The room was huge and beautiful. The king bed was sooooo comfy and absolutely enormous. Live piano in the evenings, pool, darts, ping pong - honestly it couldn't be better. Also shops and restaurants and tour agencies are right across the street so no trek into town for services.

Nothing. This place was fantastic.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was super. We loved the waiters (2girls and 1boy together in one shift), they were so cheerful. The girls who prepared the omlets and pancakes were very friendly as well. The hotel is close to restaurants and shops, markets so it was easy to find something for dinner. We had a lovely holiday with our 2 little children.

Some spa services were not operating.

The beach is right there....metres from your bungalow. The breakfast is a-la-carte (covid safe) but it is included in your room price so you can order what you want as if it was a buffet albeit a small list.

For the money we paid it exceeded our expectations so nothing to fault.

Few staffs for luggages aren’t helpful. Club lounge isn’t open (maybe due to covid)

The service was poor and I guess it was because of Covid. Examples: There was a broken glass lying on the floor next to the pool for over 24 hours. Bugs all around the pool (I guess lack of pest control). House keeping never arrived one day, I called at 3pm and got the message that rooms with leaving guests were prioritized due to new arrivals...

Khao Lak Laguna Resort is one of my favourite hotels in Thailand, everything is just perfect: the location, right on the beach but close to shops and restaurants; the staff, always attentive, professional, helpful, kind and speaking good English; the rooms (I stayed in the Oriental Villa, room 105, and I loved the decor, the attention to details, the wooden furniture, the cleanliness); the facilities (playground, two swimming pools, a pétanque court, ping pong, the gym, library, lounges, spa...). I've stayed in 5 star hotels which can't compete with the service of this 4 stars. Will be back for sure.

Everything was just perfect.

Este o experienta deosebita sa stai aici. Mi-a placut ca sunt spatii mari, multa verdeata si fauna. Am stat intr-un Oriental Villa, am avut intimitate si am fost si aproape de plaja. Designul thailandez este superb! Micul dejun a fost delicios, variat si din belsug, cu feluri atragatoare si pentru copii. Mi-au placut in mod deosebit cele doua carturi de food street - unul pentru bauturi cu gheata, celalalt pentru supe. Staff-ul a fost minunat. Foarte prietenos, receptionieri cu experienta, foarte amabili si ne-au ajutat prompt cu orice am avut nevoie.

Nu mi-a placut ca ne-au nimicit tantarii. Cu toate ca am avut un aparat impotriva lor in camera. Asta a fost cam singurul minus. Restaurantul este bun dar sincer cred ca e loc de mai bine, se poate imbunatati un pic calitatea preparatelor.

Aamiainen oli todella runsas! Todella hieno ja tilava majoitus.

Ranta ei ollut kummoinen, mutta suht läheltä löytyy kyllä hienoja rantoja.

Mysigt, grönt och fint, varaner & katter som går runt på området vilket var mysigt. Tyst och lugnt. Personalen var fantastiska, supertrevliga. Poolerna rena och fräscha. Frukosten bra med många alternativ. Massagen var toppen. Fin strand nära. Hade gärna bott här igen.

Renovering pågår fortfarande på området, inget som egentligen störde oss och vi blev kompenserade direkt vid incheckning med kuponger för mat, dryck och massage för hela familjen. Kvaliteten på maten i restaurangen hade kunna förbättras. Gymmet väldigt litet, hade behövts mer yta.

Gute Lage ausserhalb des ganzen Rummels - toller Empfang und Frühstücksraum

Ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Bettwäsche mit Löchern resp. Handtücher mit langen Fransen … Das Peronal im Restauarant war übermotiviert und kann jede Minute nachfragen, ob es noch etwas sein soll (Konsumationsdrang …) Die Bauarbeiten waren angekündigt und dennoch sehr schade …

Die Lage ist super, alles in 15min Radius zu Fuß erreichbar

Wir waren zum 3. Mal und bekamen auch wieder unsere Strandbungalows. Ein herzliches Willkommen, großes Danke an Dior. Das Wohlfühlpaket als Entschädigung für die Baumaßnahmen.

Die Baustelle, aber Reparaturen müssen sein, umso schöner wird der 4. Besuch im Resort.

לא נגיש לעגלות והמון מדרגות, קשה להסתובב עם ילדים קטנים. חוף הים זמין רק בשפל, בגאות אי אפשר להתקרב. אין הרבה כיסויים לכיסאות בריכה, לא מחדשים אותם. הרבה מעשנים במקומות ציבוריים ובכל מקום במלון (פתוח)

Хороший отель, приветливый персонал. Хорошая уборка номера. В номере: халат, резиновые сланцы, пляжные полотенца, сумка для пляжа, щетка и зубная паста, чайник, холодильник. В общем, все необходимое есть. Большой балкон, удобные кровати. Удобное расположение отеля, рядом супермаркет и торговая улица. Махровые наматрасники на лежаках у бассейна доставляют дополнительный комфорт.

Темный номер, освещения мало. Мебель требует обновления. Есть шкаф, где можно повесить вещи, но на семью он маловат. Нет полок. В номере можно встретить ящерицу, а на территории отеля - вараны.
