    The location of this hotel can’t be beat for the lake views. However you are 3 miles from the center of Puno, and need to take a taxi to get back & forth. The breakfast is excellent. My one real complaint is that they didn’t provide purified water, only small communal containers in the lobby. There were 2 small bottles of water in each room, that cost $5.00 each. I had to go back into town after a long bus ride to get there for large bottles of purified water.

    We stayed here after taking the PeruRail train from Cusco to Puno. GHL Hotel really surprised us. The rooms were clean and comfortable with stunning views of the lake. The breakfast buffet was excellent along with all the other food we ate at the hotel. Their property offers beautiful landscapes and the ability to walk around. I would highly recommend.

    Really happy to have stayed there and not at a hotel in 5he City Center. Great staff and the restaurant was excellent. No need to leave the hotel. The breakfast buffet was 5 star.
