Casa Andina Premium Puno

Kindness and genuine hospitality will always matter more than fancy facilities and amenities. We spent two nights at Casa Andina Premium Puno, and from the moment we arrived, we felt truly cared for. When we casually mentioned that Sangeeta had needed oxygen the previous night and had seen a doctor for altitude sickness, the reception team immediately reassured us that oxygen would be available anytime she needed it. Later, Sangeeta happened to mention that we would be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary on 20 May while in Cusco. Within an hour of checking in, a plate of delicious macarons and a handwritten note from the front office team arrived at our room — such a thoughtful and touching gesture. The hotel itself was impeccable: stunning views of Lake Titicaca, comfortable rooms, and excellent food. But what truly made this stay unforgettable was the warmth and ever-smiling responsiveness of everyone — from the bellboy and restaurant staff to the front office team. As we checked out, the entire front office staff gathered to wish us a happy anniversary and bid us farewell with a beautiful alpaca wool gift. Without doubt, this has been our most memorable hotel stay so far. A reminder that while luxury may impress, it is kindness that leaves a lasting impression.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise and a lovely stay. While some might say that its location isn't ideal because the hotel is not centrally located, we found this to be a huge plus. It was way off the beaten path and very quaint. It's also located right next to the train tracks (they give you earplugs in the room), but we didn't hear the train once! The staff-especially the kitchen staff, were incredible. The food at the hotel restaurant was so good that we ate there multiple times! The Lobby bar area was a perfect place to chill at night after a long day. They had a big fireplace and lots of board game options that made us feel right at home.
