The place is 2 minutes away from the army camp where we had to be over the weekend, so the location was perfect. It is only 10 minutes from Chiang Dao 'village' too.
The natural ambience is lovely and the restaurant is a place you could sit all day.
Breakfast is basic but ample and sufficient.
Our room was spacious and comfortable although the air con was above part of the bed making it quite cold at night.
The check in was hasty and the receptionist was under pressure.
Whilst making payment in from of other guests, the member of staff insisted on repeatedly entering her own pin in the card reader, and when payment was refused, kept telling me I had no money. The bank also blocked my card as a redult which caused some difficulties.
For that reason, I will think twice about choosing this place again.

Het is een paradijsje. Het zwembad is heerlijk, personeel vriendelijk en de omgeving is prachtig.
Je krijgt wat je betaalt. De gloriedagen liggen achter ons. Dat merk je aan kleine en grotere details. (De fietsen zijn niet in orde, de badkamer mag eens geroneveerd worden, etc) We zijn echter niets tekort gekomen. Ton heeft ons uitstekend opgevangen en de crew is erg vriendelijk.

Beautiful nature! The room was tasteful and comfortable.
Sorry to say, but the staff is not that friendly! The breakfast is oké, but not very special. No good price quality balance. They are aware that you never will come back.

Lovely staff and a beautiful nature-style resort with lakes, river and some great birds. Nice buffet breakfast with good coffee and Thai breakfast and also eggs, toast and jam. Big spacious rooms with storage and comfortable beds too. Some bikes available for cycles to the local villages where there are some great cafes with views over the fields to the mountains.
The stay was ruined by the rooms we had having very thin walls. The resort needs to invest in the some sound-proofing as we could hear conversations of the neighbours perfectly and you could even hear the buzz of a phone vibrating on silent mode! Perhaps this is only in the bungalow block we stayed in, but it made sleeping at night very dependent on the neighbours.
