Nice place to stay with a wonderful breakfast

Room was nice, Bathroom a little bit small but functional and very clean, location optimal for Moselsteig wanderers, staff was very friendly, competent and accommodating, but really exceptional was the sumptuous breakfast, that leaves nothing to be desired. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hotel zur Post in Klotten.

Best stopover on a bike trip

Very efficiently run and also very friendly. Big garage for motorcycle, excellent food, beer and wine. The terrace was nice to relax on and chilled beers available to have up there.

The host was very kind and helpful, he gave us very good tips on where to go and how to get around. The location is super convenient, next to the train stop (Cochem is a 5 minutes ride), without too much noise from the trains

We rented 2 rooms, the apartment for 3 people and 1 room for 2 people. The apartment has good A/C in the bedroom but the other bedroom has a fan, but it was so stuffy, So at the end all 5 of us has to stay at the apartment and open the bedroom door to make the whole apartment has enough cold air with using an extra fan from the other room...3 of us had to sleep in the living room. Dinner was delicious but the dining room was very hot, maybe fans can help! Otherwise this place is very comfortable.

Ideal for bike tours in the area.

Friendly staff. Covered secure area for motor bikes and drying out wet gear. We arrived soaking wet on a Sunday - really appreciated the excellent meal that night. Restaurant was shut Monday and Tuesday but very nice Weinhaus near by. Our room “opened” onto a communal balcony which was very convenient for a drink from the honesty fridge. We walked into Cochem one day (3km) and caught the train back (€2) which was really easy and efficient. WiFi ok.

Exceptional

The location is right by the river with easy access to the village. Greeted by the owner with a cold drink, very welcome. The room was very comfortable and soundproof so you couldn't hear the trains outside the property. There was a lovely large shared balcony were you could sit and relax and talk to fellow guests. We ate in the restaurant, we had the set meal which was superb and very much recommended. Lots of choice for breakfast. Added bonus was the garage to store our motorbike.

Schönes, kleines Hotel am Bahnhof. Bestens geeignet für Radfahrende und Biker. Das Restaurant ist großartig und einfach zugleich, das Essen ist eine Reise wert. Wir hatten ein großes und ruhiges Zimmer. Unsere Fahrräder standen sicher und trocken in einem Saal, der auch als Dorfdiskothek hätte genutzt worden sein.

Das Bad war sehr klein fast wie in Frankreich, wo wir einige Tage zuvor waren.

Föhn, Sauberkeit der Türen, Rollladen Schlafzimmer, Wasserkocher, Sauberkeit Gläser. Fruchtfliegen überall Eindeutig der Empfang: Check In ab 15:00 Uhr steht hier. Ich war um 15:15 Uhr dort und fand einen Zettel an der verschlossenen Tür: wenn man nichts über den Self Check In gelesen hätte, sollte man unter einer Nummer anrufen. Ich habe nie davon etwas gehört/ eine Nachricht erhalten also rief ich diese Nummer an. Es ging dann ein Mann ans Telefon, der offensichtlich genervt davon war, dass er noch vor 2 Minuten da war und wir uns nun verpasst hätten. Von einer Entschuldigung keine Rede. Auch keine Rede von einem Self Check In. Ich müsste dann halt warten, es würde 10 Minuten dauern. Von der weiteren Auseinandersetzung muss ich nicht erzählen hier. Völlige Fehlbesetzung, ich erwarte Verständnis und Empathie. Eine einfache ehrliche Entschuldigung, einen Fehler zugeben. Aber da kann ich nur sagen: Gute Besserung!

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit Restaurant gleich am Bahnhof

Zentrale Lage, leckeres Frühstück, bequemes Bett. Restaurant im Haus.

Etwas dunkel, da die Rollos am Dachfenster nicht ganz hoch gingen. Kaffeemaschine für Filterkaffee ist besser als nichts, aber nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Es wurde Kaffeemehl bereitgestellt, aber leider keine Milch.

Wij hebben overnacht in het huis met 2 slaapkamers. Heerlijk huis met vloerverwarming. Erg ruim.

Aangenaam verblijf op een unieke locatie

Locatie bijna naast het spoor op zo'n 100 meter van een uniek een prachtig oud Bahnhof in het Duitse Klotten aan de Moezel is best wel uniek te noemen. Gastvrij hotel met weliswaar kleine kamers maar wel voorzien van alle faciliteiten zoals airconditioning, een kleine badkamer, uitstekende bedden, mooi terras met uitzicht op de Moezel en een uitstekend restaurant. Vermeldenswaardig is dat je op je kamer s' nachts en in de ochtend niet of nauwelijks last hebt van het treinverkeer. Geliefd bij motorrijders vanwege de mogelijk om de motor binnen te stallen.

Top

Het hotel ligt op een fijne locatie, het station was 1 seconden lopen. Je kan makkelijk de trein naar Cochem nemen, deze rit duurt maar 3 minuten. Ook heeft het hotel een prachtig uitzicht op de moezel! Van het uitzicht kun je genieten op het dakterras. Daarnaast vind ik het ontbijt uitstekend. Gast heer was zorgzaam en alles was aanwezig. Ik ging met een volle buik op avontuur.

Ik dacht dat er wat extra faciliteiten waren, zoals een een restaurant, live muziek, enz. Maar ik was op de verkeerde dagen aanwezig. (Maandag t/m woensdag)

Ein schöner Aufhenthalt an der Mosel

Die Zimmer waren sauber, funktionell und ausreichend groß. Das Essen, sowohl Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Das Hotel bietet dank der Lage einen guten Ausgangspunkt für schöne Touren. Als Motorradfahrer hat uns die Unterstellmöglichkeit für das Motorrad sehr gefreut.

Tatsächlich war die Bahnstrecke ca 15-20 m von der Außenterrasse störend. Saß man draußen so konnte man bei Unterhaltungen sein eigenes Wort nicht verstehen, wenn einer der zahlreichen Züge vorbeigefahren ist.

Très belle localisation pour découvrir le MOSELTAL à moto

- mon arrivée étant prévu le jour de fermeture de l'hôtel, j'ai réceptionné préalablement des instructions très détaillées pour récupérer mes clés ainsi que des indications très utiles pour trouver un restaurant à proximité. - un très vaste local sécurisé est à la disposition des Motards pour garer leur moto.

Prima verblijf, schoon, vriendelijk en lekker eten.

Fantastisch ontbijt, ruime keuze in onder andere broodjes en beleg. Vanuit het hotel stap je op de fiets en zit je meteen op het fietspad langs de Moesel, prachtig! Ook geweldig dat je je fiets of motor veilig in de garage kunt stallen.

Het hotel heeft geen bar of ruimte waar je 's avonds ook gezellig kunt zitten, behalve het balkonterras waar je zelf je drinken mee kunt nemen.
