We had an amazing experience in the hotel. The views are breathtaking, the vineyards and the olive trees are so close you can smell them every day. The hotel offers various activities for adults and kids alike so you will never get bored. I was kind of disappointed with the food, it was good but at the same time indifferent and not that great in general, especially the a la carte menu. Rooms a bit old but large and spacious. They did many things for our anniversary and we felt very welcome. I felt so relaxed all the time I spent there.
One recommendation is that they should have a do not disturb option outside the door for some guests who want to sleep a bit more. Keep in mind that Portuguese is the primary speaking language throughout the hotel

The hotel is set in a beautiful countryside location and feels calm and spacious. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall facilities are well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Feeding the animals was the highlight for our girls, and as they were so happy, one of the staff kindly arranged for them to meet the horses and even gave them a free ride as an early Christmas gift, which was very special.
The indoor pool is excellent, although it can get crowded at times.
The food was superb (breakfast and dinner) and the wine is excellent, which made the whole experience even better.
The complimentary wine tour was not as good as expected. There was limited opportunity to try and taste different wines, and even though we offered to pay for additional tastings, this was not possible, which was disappointing given the vineyard setting. You also do not get to visit the vineyards as such, but where the wine is produced (e.g., the tech part) and it was a shame considering the beauty of the scenery.

Poor quality bedding, pillows very uncomfortable. Shower installation of a 3 stars.
The quality of the Buffet is very poor, the food is already cold from the counter. Overall, very bad food!
