Due to the strong wind in the rooms, it was a bit cold and the water in the pool could have been a bit warmer

Good value, comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff

The room was a bit cold despite the radiators being on maximum. The bath was quite narrow so not much room to turn around when having a shower and my sister and I are slim people! It would be much better to just have a lovely luxurious walk in shower which is more suitable for people struggling with their mobility. Tea and coffee making facilities would also be great rather than having to go to reception to pick up hot drinks free of charge.

Very disappointing stay. This hotel is advertised as a 4-star hotel, but it functions more like a very poor guesthouse. The room was not cleaned at all during our stay. Towels were not provided in the room upon arrival, and we were told to go to the reception to pick them up ourselves. The same thing happened when we wanted to use the pool. Basic amenities required repeated trips to the front desk. The hotel restaurant, which was supposed to be open for dinner, was completely closed and dark. I ended up sitting there alone with my small child and ordering food delivery, in an unlit restaurant area. There were no trash bins or cleaning supplies anywhere. I cleaned up after my child as much as possible using napkins, but guests should not be expected to clean facilities in a hotel of this level. When my husband arrived, the front desk clerk angrily confronted him, saying he had “allowed” us to sit there for a Zoom call but not to eat, and complained that because of us he now had to clean. The tone was rude, unprofessional, and inappropriate. Overall, the staff attitude was unpleasant, and we were repeatedly made to feel like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. At times, it felt as though we were expected to do the hotel’s work ourselves. This was not the experience we expected from a 4-star hotel, especially given the price.

The hotel is located very closed to the sea and you can go for a nice 40-minutes-"beach"-walk in direction to the city center.

The pool area was a bit drafty and noisy, not the coziest place ever, but fine.

Excellent location right on the beach and beside the forest. Well-assorted breakfast buffet. Evening restaurant so-so and expensive, but location close to city made this less important. Large room with a view and 2 chairs.

Wow, a stunning location!

Wow. The location is absolutely STUNNING ! One of the most beautiful places we have stayed. Literally on the beach front with gorgeous views. We paid a bit extra for a sea view and it was was absolutely worth every penny. The room was lovely, clean and quite spacious despite the extra bed we had requested. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast with lots of choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient. The beds were very comfortable and clean, we slept very well. The shower was very powerful and it was useful having a bath option too. The bathroom hand wash/lotions wash/shampoo etc was nice quality and generous. We would absolutely stay here again and we were very sad to leave the stunning location.

Decor a little bit dated in areas. We found a squashed wasp on our wall. We weren't too keen on the restaurant food in the evening which felt overpriced unfortunately (although I had the steak which was absolutely delicious! ) however breakfast was great and top notch. Because we needed an extra bed there was too much furniture for the space, we had to move some tables and chairs around so we could move around comfortably with the kids and the suitcase as space was tight. Door of balcony was quite squeaky, heavy and loud to open (but was very good at soundproofing!) It's worth noting it's also used as a conference space so the lifts/halls can be quite busy at times.

Perfect accomodation if you would like to combine a City Trip with a stay at the beach

- the unique stunning view - absolutely no Noise (neither from inside nor from outside) - the Area around is very beautiful (Highy recommend to Walk along the coastline or in the nearby forrest) - breakfast was much better than expected given all the negative reviews here, only the coffee wasńt that good

a gorgeous location with a bad restaurant

the location is superb, the view from the balcony is breathtaking. the personal is very friendly and helpful! thank you to the receptionist and a restaurant hostess. the breakfast was good. the beds are also very good.

the restaurant, in particular the dinner was inappropriate for a 4 stars hotel. the dessert is basically a dr. Oetker mix from a supermarket. the bathroom could definitely use some renovation work - a lot of stain and a plastic curtain in a bath (quite inconvenient) parking fee.

A great location with a stunning view.

The view was stunning and the employees where polite. The room was decent and I had a good night's rest. Everything for showering was present and the pool and fitness where good.

The rooms are not fully isolated which might result in hearing your neighbours. Between the balconies at the ground level, it might be good to have a divider. And the chef was sick so we couldn't eat at the restaurant. The staff did offer to order food and set up a table which was highly appreciated. The TV could use an upgrade but with the stunning view of the sea, you might not even need a tv :-)

Very good

The morning sun and sea view is what makes this hotel. The rest is at best 3 star, but you forget about the boring restaurant, at best mediocre breakfast and never quite clean rooms because of the location. There is no reason to book without the view. Be warned parking has gone up.

There is always something not quite perfect with the cleaning. Bead clothes etc are fine, but the bath has marks, the table is dusty or the window is not quite clean. Not enough to be a deal breaker but just enough to notice. The breakfast is at best mediocre and really quite boring, but it has everything that you expect. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so for the view. 😊

I prefer a walk in shower which I know they have in some rooms but this time we were allocated a shower over a bath which we find difficult to use; foods offered at breakfast were not as good and plentiful as they were 18 months ago; our room was extremely cold with no heating at all in the bathroom so we didn't shower.

The curtain in the bathroom of our room was too short and when taking a shower the water is leaking. Parking is paid even for guests of the hotel.

This is an excellent older hotel with an unbeatable location and great pool.

From other reviews I have read, I was a little concerned about this hotel but this stay far exceeded my expectations. The room was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool/sauna/fitness facilities were excellent. Also the restaurant was also great.

The hotel is not the most modern but I was very happy with how well it was maintained.
