The location.
Great housekeeping. The room was redone daily, including towel change. There is a mutual kitchen area where you can find a kettle, kitchenware etc.
The best shower/running water.
Bathroom amenities were provided.
The host was responsive and kind.
I solo stayed for 3 nights and have no complaints.
I was in the room only for sleep. Yes, there is TV, reading lamp etc but having a tiny window, it wasn't comfortable to spend extra time in the room.

Great location, close enough to the buzz of Grand Via and my office in Madrid, but tucked away enough to be very quiet
I had a twin room (which I'd probably booked by mistake) would have preferred a double. I got confused by the check-in process, as the reception desk is in a retail store front, across the street from the hostel. I spent 5 minutes trying to access the hostel before being directed across the street by a hostel resident.

Proximity is good, cafe with excel coffee opposite the entry. Staff were lovely and cleaned our room each day. Air conditioning worked well. Shower was nice and hot. Beds were bamboo mattress and very comfortable.
Just a small negative , kettle in the shared lounge area, no toaster or hot plate , just a microwave. Not a big deal, but some people may expect that.

Great location.
Arrival without reception was difficult, online instruction not clear. Very basic furniture. Nice bathroom. Expensive for what it was.
